DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! - BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Our pool build took about a year to complete after being told it would be 90-120 days. Our contract stated 4 months for completion. It took countless emails, calls and texts to get them to respond at all, and litigation threats in order for them to come back and finish the work after the plaster was installed. It has been over a year since the build started and they still have punch list items they never finished. All work moved quickly until they received 90% of the total funds. Then they disappeared for over a month, and did not respond to texts, calls, and emails. They misquoted our included excavation price, and then invoiced us for $2600 in overages. The project manager, Mike Bond, ignored the information we provided about our lot and therefore expected us to pay for his mistake. They then told us (in writing) they would refuse to finish unless we paid the invoice even though they acknowledged it was their mistake and they were at fault. They did over $15K in damage to our yard and landscaping, damaged our neighbors yard (which we paid to fix) and did such poor work overall that our entire irrigation system had to be replaced. They also reinstalled the coping around the pool twice, and each time they fixed it, they damaged the pool and made the whole situation worse. See images of the finished tile work. AND, we hounded Donna Crites for weeks to please check on the quality of the work that was fixed. We never received responses, and she NEVER FOLLOWED, SHOWED UP TO INSPECT, ON ANY WORK THAT WAS CONSIDERED COMPLETED We had to project manage the process from start to finish. The amount of time that Crites expected us to be available to meet their subcontractors and provide information on the project was unreasonable and unnecessary. Our work days were interrupted constantly because our PM needed information that was already provided. Moreover, there is a complete lack of accountability from the owner and her staff. Any issues that came up were our fault, even though we over communicated and documented every step of the process via email. Contracts were not honored and we had to chase the owner for over 6 months to finish the punch list items, which, in the end, were never finished.

Do not build a pool during a pandemic. Because of it, many things were delayed. However, we are pleased with the result.

Do not hire this Company So I originally posted this review on their Facebook page but after she responded by saying she was going to sue me because of this review I decided to post it here as well This was the worse experience. I would never recommend Crites Pools to anyone, they are very unprofessional. I think any positive reviews on here were either people that were related to her or made up accounts. So disappointing. Among a slew of things that went wrong with this company, we are now in the process of working with another pool company to have all the tile replaced. The tile was crooked, there were problems with the electrical system they installed, and the color that we picked out for the plaster for the pool was not the color that was placed in the pool. I spoke with other customers of Crites Custom Pools and they are all having issues with their pools. I wish we would have done a little more research before we agreed to having Crites custom pools on our property.

Complete winner, so happy we chose them. From the start worked within our budget, did not try to upsell , no nonsense before during or after project, experienced professional crew all phases, very high quality materials and workmanship, stayed on time. Thank you.

Another pool maintenance service told me last year my pool needed re-plastering. Donna looked at it with her job foreman this year and both agreed the plaster should be good for another 5 years or more and that it just needed a pressure wash and an acid wash now--saving me thousands. Very honest and helpful. I highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure working with Crites! Even through a few unavoidable mechanical hiccups, Donna was a pro at getting the job done and completed to our satisfaction. After the job was complete, we received phone calls making sure everything was working properly, and letting us know that we could contact them at anytime if we had concerns. Very professional and personable. Would highly recommend this company!!!

Very helpful. Needed an estimate on pool resurfacing and Donna was very honest and helpful. She said what she saw was cosmetic and would wait a couple more years to resurface. Thanks Donna
