This company is a pleasure to do business with, very professional and knowledgeable. I will use them again, and highly recommend them. The representative did a thorough job of searching the attic for signs of infestation, identified areas that needed to be repaired. He took the time to explain everything he found wrong or that needed attention. The office stayed in touch on reminders of the appointment, they showed up on time, and the final invoices always matched the estimates . The wait for the appointment was well worth it. I now know why they have a backlog.

In November 2016 I hired Critter Control of Philadelphia to remove squirrels from my roof, the first 2 years a tech came out and grabbed the squirrels in the cage and took it, that cost me $150 every time, so they decided to seal the roof line and the trim so the squirrels could not chew through the siding, at this point I have spent over $4600 and I can still here the squirrels in my roof, I called the company and they kept telling me they were coming from my neighbors roof, I told my neighbors, they called Critter Control and they came out and saw a hole going into my roof, all this money I spent and I still have the same problem

"Ms. K, Thank you for your comments, however you were advised from the beginning that we could only take care of the part on your side of the house. We cannot legally go onto your neighbors roof and set traps or do repairs. In 2016, you declined repairs and again in 2018 you turned down the estimate for repairs. This year you finally approved it for $2,800, not $4,600, and we took care of the problem and also informed you that the neighbors side needed work and you would possibly be getting squirrels in from their side which is what has happened. We then went to your neighbors, who called us, and explained how the squirrels were getting in on their side and coming into your attic. They agreed to have work done, and we are scheduled to do that on 5/12. I am not sure what else anyone could have done to satisfy you and I understand that these are very trying times, everyone is a little on edge, but I was upset to read this review and even more upset that you took it out on our customer service girl who ended the day in tears of over this. If you want to discuss further, as was suggested earlier, please call Matt, your technician, who knows much more than the office does about this job."

Matt did an outstanding job of repairing the attic louvers, which had been damaged by squirrels, and sealing the attic against additional squirrels. He reconstructed the damaged louvers and reinforced them with wire mesh. He did a very painstaking and diligent job during adverse weather conditions. He was knowledgeable, polite and professional. He obviously cares great deal about his work product. He was a pleasure to work with and I would hire him and this company again.

I gave Critter Control 5 stars so far. I contacted them and they got me an appointment promptly. They gave me a range when Mike would be there to make the assessment of my critter problem. The range was 10-2pm, he was there at 10am. He took pictures of the hole the squirrels made to get in the attic. He went to the attic and met the family. He confirmed no wires had been chewed. In addition, he checked out some pulled down insulation in the basement, I thought there was some animal feces in it and he confirmed, I had a shrew a long time ago. And if Mike couldn't be nicer, he took a dead mouse that my cat left on the floor. I am going to stop, because it sounds like I like in a barn. Mia was great with following up and getting an appointment in order to get my family of squirrels out. He then is going to repair the hole that they got in.

Had an issue with a couple of squirrels deciding they wanted to take up residence in my attic. Was connected to Critter Control and set up my appointment. Matt was great to work with, understood the problem, and developed a plan. It did take a bit linger for them to return to begin the job, but it is the fall and the busy season for this sort of thing. Again, Matt was very diligent in the approach he took, did what he said would be need to be done. Work was of very high quality. So, squirrels are out, and was worth the investment. Highly recommend.

For weeks, a groundhog has been digging under my front porch. I read all I could find on line and tried to solve this problem myself. Finally, I realized that the problem was more than I could handle. I contacted Home Advisor and Critter Control responded to my request. The next day, Critter Control representative arrived at my home at the appointed time, I learned a LOT about the habits of groundhogs--and the representative worked up a very thoughtful plan of action. I am very grateful to Critter Control another knowledgeable representative for this wonderful help.

Extremely polite and prompt staff (Matt). Educated me thoroughly on racoons...a topic that I really did not want to know about (but needed to know about!). A racoon got into my crawl space. I had an evaluation of what was needed to get rid of it once and for all. Critter Control knows their stuff! I recommend! Hopefully, you never have this problem, but if you are reading this, you probably do.

Very knowledgeable and professional. Terry explained that the snakes I had called about (and photographed) around my yard were harmless garden snakes, ate bugs and beetles, had no teeth and would move elsewhere once the food source was more or less exhausted. He also carefully went around the house to find places where snakes, bugs, birds, mice, or other critters might be able to move inside. He will be back shortly to plug those small areas up and showed me where they were. I was impressed with his knowledge and appreciated that he did not try to sell me traps to kill the harmless snakes or services I did not need.

The technician was knowledgeable and personable. The groundhog was trapped within a few days. It took a little longer to remove the groundhog than I would have liked but it was Easter Sunday when it was caught. I am entirely satisfied. I would call them again if another problem occurs.

Very disappointed in their customer service. We had them come out in 4/2018 to install something to help with our woodpecker problem on our chimney. Less than 1 year later the device fell off our roof and they refused to come out and replace it without charging us another hefty service fee. The device is cheaply made for outdoor conditions and should be able to last in the elements more than a year without having to replace it and charge customers service fees for coming out again. Despite calling them repeatedly asking them to replace the poorly made clip, they refused without charging us a service fee.

"We explained that hanging a device to deter woodpeckers was temporary and because of federal migratory bird laws, it is the first step that must be taken. This streamer lasted 9 months which is actually a long time for a temporary device. This was all explained to the customer before servicing. We are very sorry she refuses to pay a nominal fee for us to send a technician out, put up an extension ladder and rehang the device but there is just too much liability on our part to do so. Most of our customers understand we can't work for free and agree to pay a service fee and we can't in good conscience not charge just because of threats to malign us on the internet."

It was an education for me having Terry remove our Black Jacket wasps. He taught me so much for my own information about these bees. Terry has helped us on other Critter Control projects I hired. And He is and was excellent in every way toward the customer and removing the unwanted pests. Thank you Terry!
