Crosby Remodeling recently completed a bedroom/bathroom extension project for us. Matt and his team did an outstanding job in each and every aspect of the project, it went seamlessly and he even completed the project 2 weeks ahead of schedule. He was very proactive and communicated with us every step of the way. We were very impressive with the service we received from Matt and his crew, and have no hesitation at all in recommending him for any remodeling project.

Matt Crosby is now our contractor for life. Crosby Custom Remodeling did 3 large projects in our home during the pandemic. 1) 2 attic conversion to a gym and media room 2) Garage conversion, enclosing our carport to complete an oversized 4 car garage 3) Kitchen, master bath, fireplace refresh and 1st floor flooring replacement. We probably had every trade imaginable involved in our projects. Through the pandemic, with two kids at home, bringing home a 3rd during it all, Matt (owner) took care of us and our home. He took the time to build trust and proved himself and his skills renovation after renovation. It's a big decision to invite someone into your home and make structural and cosmetic changes. I can say after our 3 major renovations that it is an easy decision. I trust Matt and his knowledge to work within our budget and tackle anything that comes up during construction and design.

We just moved to Houston recently and bought a house that needed a full kitchen remodel, a family room addition built, and three upstairs bathrooms refreshed. We requested bids from several companies, and Crosby was the only one to give a full detailed proposal (during the holidays, no less). It did not need to be in stone, but we needed a general jumping off estimate and we were grateful for the attention and timely proposal. Once we hired them, it was good to go over line by line and agree on the scope and price. Here I would say if you know you are going to prefer an upgrade in some areas, add it in. Some things I had no problem using standard quality products, but sometimes I preferred something more expensive. This was simply a change order and we both approved it ahead of time. Like any relationship, you need to communicate and be understanding. They can not know what I am going to prioritize. I appreciated how patient they were with any changes I made (changes before the work was done, I should add!). The project was on time and on a budget (any increase was due to unforeseen issues or an upgrade on my part). We were not in town for a large portion of the remodel and their software was a godsend. They uploaded photos and updates each day so we could see the progress. There were schedules and projected dates for work on the app. It all went swimmingly. Once we were in town, Matt was good about being in touch or seeing me often. Projects take off in momentum detail wise, and there were many balls in the air all of a sudden. One has to be flexible. Things change. Decisions need to be made quickly and clients often do not think about certain details in the beginning, because you just do not know everything that goes into a remodel or build at the start. Matt and his team worked tirelessly to please us and even went above and beyond in some areas, which we are so grateful for. If there was something I wished were different, Matt calmly fixed it. We honestly are so pleased with the process, with Crosby Custom Remodel, and with Matt, Allen, and the whole team. I definitely recommend them and would hire them again!

From the beginning, we were impressed with Crosby. Of several contractors we requested quotes from to floor over our vaulted ceiling, convert a game room to a bedroom and a walk in closet, and wall off the entry room to create an office, they were the ones who showed they wanted the business as they were prompt to respond to our request, put together a quote and follow up on our thoughts. The other contractors either took several weeks to respond or wouldn't respond at all and their quotes were higher than Crosby's. We thought Crosby's level of engagement from the beginning would be an indication of the level of service they would be perform when doing work on our house. We found this to be true. The project began and finished on schedule. If we needed something changed or done differently than planned, they were quick to respond. The project cost came in as quoted. According to my wife who was home most of the time, the subcontractors that came in were all very professional and did great work. Some aspects of the work (such as raising and replacing windows) look better than we anticipated. As we communicated via text with the contractor, there were a few minor misunderstandings due to the nature of text messaging but these were resolved. The only thing we would have changed in the process is scope out with a little more thought some of the details of the project but this is mainly on us as Crosby did what we asked them to do. Overall, we're very satisfied with the end result and recommend Crosby to anyone looking to do some remodel work on their house.

We recently concluded a very challenging installation of a bathroom suite and closet located on the attic on a fourth floor of our home! We invited four bids and chose Crosby Custom Remodeling. Their proposal was the most comprehensive as they attended to our needs and were able to design in a tight spot a full bathroom and somehow managed to get us an extra closet. We cannot but complement Allen and Matt on the execution of the works . My wife is detailed oriented and Matt, even through the process of welcoming a new member to his family, was always available and personally tended to hiccups which are normal in this type of construction. The final product was impecable and met our expectations. Next job, we undertake will be theirs and we can comfortably recommend .

Crosby were thoroughly professional throughout. They provided a detailed workscope, timing and cost which all were agreed prior to starting the project. The project was completed on schedule and at the agreed upon price. The quality of work was excellent and where there were punch list items, those were completed in a timely fashion. They were able to incorporate some major additions to the program with no issue. Matt himself is highly personable and will give his customers advice to any level they require so as to ensure the customers expectations can and will be met.

It was a somewhat small master bath. Matt did the plumping and futures while Eric did the tile work. They listened to any concerns and solved any problems that came up. The new shower with a rain head, hand held spray, body sprays and a great glass surround came out great! The tile work is smooth and clean. No edges sticking up, grout lines even and the shower floor flows perfectly to the drain.I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Matt was always available for answers to my questions. He allowed me to design my own room addition and offered expert advice to make it come true. Pretty much everything went to plan, and we finished ahead of schedule.

Matt Crosby and his team built a beautiful addition to my daughter's and son-in-law's home for my sister and me. We told Matt we wanted an addition to the main house that looked like it was a part of the original house. We did have an architect draw up the plans, and had everything wheelchair accessible. To look at the addition, it fits smoothly with her home and you would not know it was an add-on. Matt and his team did an outstanding job with the construction. It is sound and as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. We had frequent meetings with Matt on its progress and he even suggested we put in a laundry area which we had not considered in the original plans. Everything worked out great. Matt has a contractor who builds-in the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. They are beautiful and sturdy. We love our living space and get many compliments on its beauty and workmanship. We so appreciate Matt and his team.

Considering the supply and demand issues because of Harvey, you finished the job in a timely manner and we thank you for that. As a result of the Harvey event we had to remodel my house completely. Rebuilt kitchen and bathroom cabinets, new bathtub and shower in both baths. Remodeled master bath and made it more functional. Painted all of the inside of the house. A first rate job. In the kitchen and bath areas, all will now have granite counter tops.

Don't pay him until you have everything done.

Over a 3 year period, we interviewed numerous contractors to remodel our home. We decided to take a chance on Matt & Crosby Custom Remodeling due to the reviews online & his numerous discussions with us.; and, we were not disappointed. Matt listened to us & understood the vision we had for our home. Our kitchen was one of the most dysfunctional kitchen layouts we have ever seen much less lived in for the past 10 years. I had lots of photos of cabinets, layouts, etc. I had seen over the years, & Matt incorporated those into our design. We remodeled 1100 sq. ft. of the first floor of our home - kitchen, dining, breakfast, laundry, den, & powder bath plus removed 2 walls. Matt provided a calendar of scheduled work, so we knew every day what to expect & who would be at our home. And, the team stayed on schedule even during the rain, they would keep moving forward or stay late to complete the work - even working some weekends. As a project manager myself, I was very impressed with the level of commitment Matt & his team have. Demolition began on day 1, & everything was taken to the studs & the concrete slab. During the project, 2 beams were installed, gas line installed, water lines moved, & new electrical. This was a major project which lasted 8 weeks while we were living in the home with a small dog & 2 cats. Matt & his team used the large plastic sheets with zippers for access & an air filter to reduce the dust from infiltrating the other areas of our home. They used 2 air scrubbers during the painting process which helped tremendously as the fumes were removed from the house into the front yard. And, they were diligent to clean up after themselves as we continued to live in the house. All of our cabinets were built onsite to our specifications with rolling shelves which are soft close, & the cabinet doors are soft close, too. Rey & his team of painters were outstanding and their work was spot-on! No drips, no runs, just perfect. Rey's team sanded every cabinet in order to have the "smooth as glass" finish. The granite was cut onsite & installed perfectly. Every one of Matt's crew was professional & willing to work with the Oak Ridge North inspector - ORN has very strict guidelines, & all work was completed to their satisfaction. As we would notice items which needed attention, Matt & Don would correct any issues we found, never an excuse, but yes ma'am, we will get that done; and they did. We purchased a chandelier to hang over our kitchen sink; however, the chandelier had to be put together. Unfortunately, this came during a time when I was needed at work & could not devote any time to placing the crystals on the fixture. When I arrived home one evening thinking I was going to have to work on that light, whala! Don had installed the crystals, & the chandelier was complete & hanging in its proper place. Happy Day! We had our kitchen completely remodeled and expanded by Crosby Custom Remodeling. I have to say that every time we had any issue with the project Matt quickly resolved it! The kitchen came out FAR better than we had ever envisioned, thanks to Matt's suggestions and hard work, the fit and finish & function are excellent and we love our new kitchen. We are very pleased with Crosby Custom Remodeling. This contractor completely remodeled our master bathroom, added a new fireplace, 2 art shelves, and added 20 feet of decorative tile up an plain wall in our family room, along with changing out the back splash and counter-tops in our kitchen to match the 20 foot wall in the family room! We are very pleased with his service!

We wanted to enclose my 2 car garage for my mom after my dad passed away in July. I contacted 7 different companies and met with many potential contractors but we felt very good about Matt Crosby and Cris from the very first meeting. They were here every time they said they would be, they did what they said they would do, and right from the beginning Matt supplied me with his business card, he sent me over a copy of the needed paperwork to assure our confidence in his company, and he supplied me with a 2-page of the project broken down into each category concluding with the projected amount of the job total. They took care of every facet of the remodel - bringing the floor up to one level (concrete work), installing new plumbing for shower and bathroom uses, all electrical outlets installed, canned lights added, painting, doors installed, windows installed, trim work, exterior elevation added that looks great, HVAC installed. We are almost finished with the project - they started putting the flooring down today. We are just so happy with the professional but personal job they have done. All of the contractors have been very kind, respectful and hard working. I am so pleased to have worked with such a wonderful group of people at this time in our lives. Being able to "launch" my mama off into this new era of her life with such a beautiful living area for her to enjoy has meant more than words can express.

I dont often give reviews unless negative but working with Matt was a great experience in hiring a contractor. He priced the job fair, he did what he said he would and completed the project in a timely manner. His team was professional and friendly and experienced in the remodel project we had. We converted a gameroom to a bedroom by putting a wall up and adjusting hvac vents and electrical. The larger project was converting a garage space to a wired media room platformed like a movie theater. Matt did a good job of filling our needs. I would recommend him for future projects.
