Crowder Custom Builders, Inc. , Birmingham, AL (205) 229-0484, recently remodeled our Guest bathroom and did such a good job that we hired them to remodel the Master Bath and dressing room. They removed a tub in the Master bath and installed a large shower. Mr. Terry Crowder, owner, did all of the tile work himself and supervised everything. As a former homebuilder with over 30+ years experience, he still keeps up with the latest trends in construction and made suggestions that completely updated our older home. He managed to stay within the estimate while making these changes that added value and much more enjoyment for us. As is common in an older home, he found some safety issues with the wiring etc. and corrected them. Mr. Crowder is knowledgeable, efficient and very detail oriented. If something doesn't look good to him, he will take it out and do it over. He is also very personable and easy to work with. Crowder Custom Builders just completed our major renovation of our house in 3 months time (Jan 2018- March 2018) . We have completed a major renovation of a 30 year old house in Indian Springs. We hired Crowder Custom Builders and Terry Crowder is the owner. Terry was at the job every day supervising the subcontractors and also doing his own work in the framing, installation of the sheet-rock, and finishing the sheet-rock. Terry personally did all the tile work in the kitchen and bathroom floors and the beautiful backsplash in the kitchen. He is a master tile person. Also he converted a sitting room in our master bedroom into a huge master closet with custom shelving which is also his specialty. He also repaired some rotten areas in the floor and around windows in our kitchen and replaced the windows himself. Our house looks fantastic with the home improvements Terry made to our house. I cannot wait until we can afford a new screened in porch and redo my wrap around porch in the front of our house. I will certainly use Crowder Custom Builders to do this next extensive renovation to the outside of our house.

The owner of Crowder Custom Builders, Inc., Terry, is very knowledgeable and full of resources to fit all of your needs from engineering layouts to drywall contacts--he can point you in the right direction! Terry knew the proper way to start our home remodel project in order to have a successful inspection with the local city hall permit office. Unfortunately, we initially chose a different contractor who essentially did everything wrong to our home. Terry came into our project mess and took great strides to work with us under our distressed circumstances to give our home a polished finished product. Crowder Custom Builders, Inc. built the framing for our entire main floor, including a semi-vaulted ceiling, load bearing wall reinforcements, leveled and reinforced our mudroom addition, installed our kitchen cabinets, built a kitchen island, and everything in between! Every time he saw a problem, he brought his concerns to our attention. He responds to all of your questions, and is easily accessible when you call or text him. Several years ago, Crowder Custom Builders built a house for me. I was surprised but pleased with how the builder listened to everything I said, observed my statue (I am very short) and my health problems and took these things into consideration as he built my house. He did shelves along with hanging bars in my closet and made everything to my personal reach. He made many suggestions as larger handicap doors throughout the house, which I would not have thought about. He made many suggestions also about colors for paint, cabinets and floors. Very knowledgeable and has a high style. He does not just come out to do a job. He wants you to be pleased when you walk into a room when he is finished. Recently after I moved, I needed to remove a bathtub and enlarge my shower in my bathroom, so I called him and had him to do a large shower which he tiled and retiled the floor. He helped me choose the tile and came up with the exact color of paint the walls. As you can see in the picture, he did a beautiful job and made me feel like I am at a spa every time I walk into my bathroom.
