FABULOUS SERVICE!! Our 15 year-old AC unit outside was making a terrible racket which would actually wake us (and probably our neighbors) at night. Roger came to the house a few hours after the initial call and quickly diagnosed and repaired it. We were worried we would need a new unit. Prompt, courteous, and honest, what more can you ask for? We were thrilled! WAHOO!

They arrived as scheduled. Went right to work removing the old unit then installed the new one. The technician verified all components were to manufacturers specs, cleaned the job site before leaving.

They were very professional. They arrived on time and found the problem within minutes. While they did not have the exact part with them, they installed a suitable replacement and came back a couple of days later with the correct replacement and installed it. I was not charged with the second trip. The repair person was extremely polite and knowledgeable. I will be calling them the next time I have a problem and will not have any problem recommending them to anyone. Thank You Currituck Mechanical.

Cooling system quit. Another company evaluated it and claimed the entire system was worn out and needed replacing. I called Currituck Mechanical for a second opinion. System only had a couple of fixable leaks and components still had plenty of life remaining. Currituck Mechanical was reasonable, quick and honest. Would recommend them and I will use them again.

Roger and David arrived on time. They actually set up test equipment and troubleshot my system. They diagnosed the problem, reviewed the results of their tests with me and provided me with sound recommendations to fix my problem. Currituck Mechanical came on time and looked at my current system under inclement weather. Estimate was broken out by equipment needed, job specifics, and priced very competitively. Also Currituck Mechanical is cleaning up the poor installation of my prevouis HVAC installer some 12 years ago Moving lines to interior of home to eliminate eye -sore lines on exterior of home. System is now installed 12/15/2010 , and what a great job. Professional, thorough, and HVAC knowledge beyond any one I have experienced. top Rated and very satified installed by a true professional.and reliable.. Recommend highly great job!

Roger came and tired to fix our sad A/C unit but after 18 years it was done. He managed to get an new one within about 12 hours (which in the Outer Banks is really really fast) and had it installed immediately. They were clean, fast and very nice guys. I would recommend them to anyone.

I'm a young mom who just bought a house in the Barco area. My AC went out on me completely- and it was over 100 degrees in the house. I called Mr. Payton and explained the situation to him. He was at my house within three hours, and fixed my problem in less than an hour. He was extremely courteous, professional, and an absolute delight! His work was great, and his rates were more than fair. I'm reccommending Mr. Payton to all of my friends and family, and put his number right on the fridge for my annual maintenance!

"Customers mobile home floor was water damaged, we had to remove the air handling unit for the floor repairs, upon removing advised owner that the coil should be replaced as it was rusted to the point of leaking and totally clogged with dirt/dust, We gave a new coil to the homeowner at our cost and showed the receipt to the owner so he knew we were being straight with them, reinstalled the air handler with new coil and got everything back up and running at a very low price and left them with a much better operating system then when we arrived. Which is why i have a hard time understanding this rating we went above and beyond for the home owner"
