From the very beginning, Curt was wonderful to work with! He presented us with a very fair bid and was able to complete the project on budget within 3-4 weeks. The final result of our basement remodel is amazing and we couldn�t be more thrilled with the results. As a stay at home mom, I was worried about having contractors in the house when I was alone. All the men on Curt's team were very courteous and I always felt comfortable having them in my home. In addition to the basement, Curt removed a wall in our upstairs foyer and now we hope to have him return in the near future to install some built in bookshelves. Thank you, Curt!

Be advised, you do NOT want to hire Curt Lawson Properties. I don't have any complaints with the quality of work, but I am now in the process of dealing with a materials lien on my home due to Mr. Lawson failing to pay his supplier. Repeated phone calls to Mr. Lawson over the past 7 months have got me nowhere. He has blamed his supplier for making an accounting mistake, other customers for failing to pay him, and then told me he was waiting on a loan to go through. Now he wont take my calls at all. I will have no choice but to sue him in small claims court after paying to satisfy the lien myself.

DO NOT USE CURT LAWSON AS A CONTRACTOR. We were happy with the end result of the deck and fence, but would not recommend him for the following reasons: - Very slow and never met deadlines - Staining of the deck was shoddy and had be redone twice - Curt promised to run electricity to the deck for lighting, but never did - Curt promised to build a ramp leading into the storage shed and never did - Curt promised to give me the formula for the stain so I could buy some from Porter Paint for touch-up, but he never carried through. - Once we gave Curt the final check, he would not return repeated emails, voicemails, and text msgs.

3 months after the completion of our deck project and paying in full for the service, we received a notice from a lumbar company we had never heard of stating that we owed $800 for lumbar that was delivered to our address. After another few months of getting the run around, being lied to, and then finally completely ignored by Mr. Lawson, we had to pay the lumbar company to prevent them from filling a lein on our home. I am currently in the process of taking him to small claims court to get back the money that we lost.

From beginning to the end, it was professional, pleasant, personable, and enjoyable. The basement turned out excellently, better than hoped for. It is now beautiful, functional, super quiet, and a joy to use. The workers became our friends and the project became their goal. We highly recommend Curt Lawson Properties, LLC for any projects you have.

He did an outstanding job. He paid attention to every detail. Very easy to work with. He gave me a great price and beat two other contractors by thousands of dollars. His sub-contractors were top notch and very easy to work with. The only slightly negative thing I would say is he was hard to get a hold of at times and his cell phone would not accept messages. I found this to be common though among many contractors. Even with the difficulty trying to reach him, the job still got done on time. The 5 weeks he spent on my project had only 2 or 3 days where no work was being done. He also set up a fair payment schedule.

Did a great job on my basement finish. Came in at a good price, and was finished in just a few weeks. He and his crew were always professional and courteous, and the work was very good. I plan on using him for some smaller things around the house as well when the time comes. I highly recommend Curt.

My wife and I are pleassed with the work. I will give them the 5th star as soon as they put up the special order gate to finish the deck.
