Tim was very responsive and professional . He and his crew worked quickly to complete the job. Unfortunately there were some issues and I think the job turned out to be a little more complex expected. Pros- -Tim responded quickly to my post and was able to visit my home and deliver a quote the next day. - I thought Tims quote per drop was fair and in line with the cost research that I performed. - Tim was responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. - I found a few issues after the installation and Tim revisited my home to address them. Issues - - I had speed issues where some of the drops were limited to around 100mbs. After purchasing a cable tester, I found that some of the wire terminations were loose. Some of the wires were crossed causing the switch to only use 2 pairs for 100mbs, instead of 4 pairs for the full 1gbs. I had to fix 6 of the 10 working drops. - 1 of my drops did not work. I also had an extra cable that had been run to my closet; it did not have a keystone and I was told that it was spare. Using the test set, I verified that the cable that should have worked was not passing a signal. I put a keystone on the;spare cable and was able to verify a good signal from the test set leading me to conclude that the connection was not tested after installation. - I recently found that the cable that was used is copper clad aluminum. While I did not specifically specify solid core copper, I assumed that solid copper is the industry standard. While this may not be an issue, I am using 2 runs for my PoE wifi access points and this causes a concern due to the higher resistance of aluminum.

Tim did a great job for me. What looked like a mountain of a project he turned into a successful home entertainment system. Looking forward to using my new system. Turned my man-cave into a show piece. Came prepared and did a great job.

Worked diligently to ensure our day was not disrupted by the job at hand, good communication, and was very kind to my son who asked multiple questions 😁 made little to no mess and cleaned up every bit of it!
