Custom Built Remodeling, LLC

I did a lot of homework before hiring a roofing company. First I researched my shingles and decided upon GAF shingles. Next, I had to find a company who used these shingles and someone who was certified through GAF. I had three estimates and all of them were different! I ruled out one well known recommended company because when I called them to ask questions the owner could not comment because they hired folks on the side to give estimates and he was unfamiliar with the write up. The second company I ruled out said my roof had three different degrees of slope and the GAF shingle could not be used on it. All he said he would do was put on the exact cheap shingle that was already there. He would not even consider anything different. I called the GAF representative and they said they would guarantee the GAF shingle on my low slope roof with a 50 year warranty. Lucky for me, Custom Built Remodeling is trained to use GAF shingles. Gene M. comes out to your house to give you an estimate. If you have a question, Gene answers the phone. When the roof is being put on your house, Gene is there! He is there for the entire project from start to finish. After the roof was put on I had a small concern and Gene showed up immediately. Good luck finding that with another company. I watched all of the on-line videos about GAF shingles, when Gene was explaining the roofing process and materials he would use I had a question that puzzled him. He actually called his representative at GAF for clarification and got back to me. He was not arrogant and he was very easy to work with. I highly recommend Custom Built Remodeling.

This quote was the lowest of three estimates. Customer service was excellent. Work was done well and on time. Very professional.

Gene was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, professional in the manner in which he dealt with me explaining the proper solution to my install. I was comfortable dealing with him from the outset. Unlike the other companies, he was on time, explained the issues and provided an estimate. No high pressure sales tactics just straight honest dialogue about the repair. The job was finished on time and it was a pleasure that Gene over delivered. High quality materials coupled with the quality and expert installation and finishing the job ahead of schedule is one of the many reasons that I highly recommend Gene and Custom Built Remodeling.

Excellent customer service. Roofing done as promised and on time. Immaculate clean up. Roof looks wonderful. I have only good things to say about this roofing experience. I would recommend Custom Built to others.

Gene was great to work with. He delivered what he promised, when promised. I felt comfortable through the entire process.

Very customer friendly...great job

Gene and his crew did a fine job. In fact, I appreciated that Gene had to run to two different stores to fix errors made by his supplier to ensure I was getting the right parts. His crew cleaned up beautifully and were careful not to crush the flowers. It's awesome when the contractor with the lowest bid also does the best job. Now that Custom Built has replaced our upper roof, we will likely call them to replace our siding in the Fall.

The owner Jene Miller was very professional. From start to finish. His crew was on time and very neat and cleaned up. It was like they were never here.

I was very impressed with the overall experience. From the first meeting where we met Gene and he went over his company, the products he supplies, the warranties, the cost, and what the company is responsible for. Out of all the quotes we received Custom Built Remodeling was the one that fit our needs the best. I was very comfortable talking to Gene nd asking questions, he was very knowledgeable and able to explain everything about installing a roof. The day that the roof was installed the team worked quickly and efficiently and took care to clean up any debris that may have fallen into the yard. It has been about a month since the roof was installed and I am very pleased with the workmanship.

We called Custom Built Remodeling and spoke with Gene Miller. Gene showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. He went over what they could do and our different opinions on materials. He gave us a price that was well below many of the others. Gene and his crew showed up on time and were very courteous and professional and kept us informed on the progress of the job. They finished the job exactly when Gene said they would and cleaned up everything to where you couldn't even tell they were there. This made me very happy as I am very critical of things like that. Gene and his crew went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I would recommend Gene Miller and Custom Built Remodeling to anyone.

I had several companies come to my home to give me quote and Gene. the sales rep. was extremely knowledgeable, honest, and gave recommendation instead of pushing us to replace the entire roof. He price matched if we found another company cheaper. Everyone that has used him has been satisfied 100%. He has a reference binder. He didn't take a lot of time but enough to make us understand and he wasn't pushy. The sales rep is also the project manager so he follows through the entire project from beginning to end. I highly recommend you use Custom Built Remodeling. You won't regret it.

The owner of the company was top notch to do business with. He was very fair in his price but the best part was his attention to detail and making sure the customer (me) was happy when the job was completed.
