Dan has done a good variety of work for us, all of it totally custom, book shelves with base cabinets, crown and base mouldings, beams, stairs with steel spindles, doorway trim with decorative headers. All I can say is WOW! Dan is an artist in wood. His work is impeccable, he sweats the details and will work with you to get the look you want and tries to give options to save money on the project. Dan is a pleasure to work with. I couldnâ t have found a better carpenter. We will certainly use him again.

Tear out and rebuild existing cabinet for over the range microwave. Dan did excellent work. The job was not done the way I had envisioned, probably because Dan was trying to stay within my budget. I think our problem was we did an over the phone estimate rather than an onsite estimate. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Dan again. He found and repaired an electrical problem as well.

Dan was quick to respond any time I contacted him. His work was above and beyond what was requested and needed. He included extras that the manufacturer did not account for. His skills extend far beyond installation and cabinet making- very useful when needs occur that aren't accounted for. The pricing was very fair for the skills and the time it took to do the job.

The original project was a tear out of existing built in bookcases/lower cabinets and small bar, with fabrication of custom built in replacements. Dan was responsive to our specific needs, and by the end of the project he had done not only the tear out and fabrication, he did that and much more. Upon finding an unwelcome surprise of damaged drywall behind the torn out bookcases and cabinets, Dan successfully repaired it, as well as replacing some missing mortar surrounding the fireplace. He repaired damaged molding and finished the project by painting the entire room to make it all look fresh and new. Dan not only created beautifully crafted bookcases, cabinets , mantel and bar; he demonstrated his breadth of skills by repairing drywall, mortar and molding. While we had not anticipated painting the room, Dan's charges were reasonable and he was responsive to our ever-changing requests. CCI are experts, very professional and on time and work hard. My only area of disagreement was price. The original price was steep but the work was exceptional - however, due to a manufacturing error in one of the doors, CCI had to return and finish installing one door. That raised the price significantly.
