Wood Fence - Install
I hired this company for a couple of services, one was completed. I paid in advance for the other to be done and was told they would be back the next day and this has been about three weeks now and the owner has stopped responding to my text.

Brick and Stone Patios, Walks, and Steps - Install
I hired George Jarrod to re-do a brick path at the front of my house and install a French drain. He had a crew remove the pavers. A job that was supposed to be done in three days ended up taking more than two weeks and I had to fire him. After over a week of a little more than an hour a day of work being done each day his crew asked me to come out and look at the "pattern" George told them to use. They only removed about 3/4 of the path and were supposed to match it up to my existing path. The existing path was a zig-zag pattern with mortar in between each paver. When I came out to look at the pattern George told them to lay down they had placed the pavers in straight lines next to each other with no room in between. They even knew to stop and talk to me. I called George right away and told him this is not what I had asked for. He told me if I wanted to match up the existing pattern that was there it was going to be more money for labor and more money for materials. I told him that that was his fault and who would ever have two completely different patterns on a path at the front of their house. He got mad and argued with me. It was at this time that I let him go. The French drain he half-way built did not have any gravel under it and instead of making it go to the side of the yard to divert the water he directed to the side of the house directly next to the foundation. I have several texts from him stating that he would remove the old pavers from the front of the yard (which he stated he would have removed on day 2 of the project)-he left his trailer in our driveway for over a week even after we let him go and we could not get down to our garage. I texted and called several times and he kept saying he would come get it along with the pile of gravel on the driveway and the old pavers. He finally came and got his trailer late in the evening when we were gone and drove over the gravel in our driveway still leaving a huge pile there so we still can't drive our cars to the garage and he left the pile of pavers at the front yard. He is very un-professional and I would encourage anyone reading this NOT to hire him unless you want to be out a lot of money and time. We paid him half of the project up front which we lost and our front yard is now a disaster. I have pictures of the above if anyone wishes to see evidence of just how bad it is!!!!

Brick, Stone or Block Wall - Install
$750
The contractor used the wrong type brick (does not match the house bricks and was not the same size). The job was rushed, he started putting the brick wall up around 5:00pm and worked until around 9:00pm, it was dark and he was using his truck headlights. Came back Saturday morning around 10:00 and finished. He requested half of the money up front so he could purchase the material. then he ask for some more money that night so he could pay off his helper. My wife and I are very disappointed with the wall. If I had it to do over again it would be different. I learned a lesson on this project.
