The main reason I rated this less than 5 is their policy of not telling you when they will install because they don't need you to be at home. They also quoted less than 7 days & work was done on 8th & 9th day after order - they had to return next day because truck didn't have oversized downspout we ordered

I found JC Gutters on Home Advisor. I sent an e mail and was contacted the same morning. He came to the house gave me a price did the work the same day. Its so refreshing to find someone willing to do a job and charge a fair price. Very pleased and glad to know I have someone I can call in the future if needed.

Seamless Metal Gutters Repair
After the winter of 2015 I needed something done with my gutters. That something was the replacement of 2 gutters in the front. Steve was always prompt and a pleasure to work with, from the moment of initial meeting and throughout the job. Steve gave patient explanation to my questions, and offered to adjust a specific area to appease my perception which had nothing to do with the quality of the work. Steve also offered guidance on another unrelated issue. This has been a pleasant experience and I am very happy with the outcome. I would definitely hire them again!

Seamless Metal Gutters Repair
Mark and Steve replaced the gutter on the south side of my house which pulled away and was damaged by heavy ice this winter. Also, all the gutters around my house were tightened and loose nails replaced. About a week later, after a heavy rainstorm, an adjustment was needed on the new gutter. Mark inspected it, agreed that an adjustment was needed, and Steve came and fixed it. I am satisfied with the job and would hire Mark again.

Mark did the work I requested in less time than anticipated. His price was a $1k less than an other estimate I received. I highly recommend and will return to Mark if I need more carpentry done.

Mark Richardson of Custom Homes R Us was supposed to work on our roof. He accepted a deposit and did some of the work but did not finish. He also left shingles off and wood exposed. He left our balcony railing unsecured. Finally, there are still random materials on our balcony. He started the work on Friday December 5, 2014. He did not complete it because he ran out of time, but he said he would come back to finish it the next week. It has now been over a month since he started the work and, after repeated phone calls, texts and emails, we have not heard back from him. We have no idea if he even plans to finish the work. We also do not know exactly what he did so hopefully we'll get a replacement contractor who can figure it out and pick up where he left off. These are the facts. I do not recommend you do business with this contractor.

"While we appreciate the candor from your perspective much has been done to remedy the issues behind this rather negative rating and in fact all but the rating itself have been fixed since its posting! In the Company's defense we are choosing to publicly disclose the fact that the owner and chief laborer was severely injured by falling from a ladder at another job site and for obvious reasons needed to take some time away to rehabilitate himself. The project at that point was 98% finished with the other 2% (edge caulking) completed within a reasonably timely fashion. As far as any financial risk to the customer all that was on the line at the"
