"I am Incompetent??? Judge for yourself, I have over 30 years of verifiable references in the construction trades and I am structural qualified for buildings up to 5 story commercial. As to her job which she shut down because it isn't progressing to her satisfaction, I will say this, this is a LABOR ONLY CONTRACT. I requested $700. down on labor. This amount was put into material which was reimbursed by her and promptly paid out for more material which was needed to correct the structural flaws and plumbing which we had to move at her request to a different location requiring extensive changes to drains, shut off valves, dryer vents, installation of a pocket door and numerous other changes she requested. I agreed to do this job (before she wanted to change everything) for only $1400. for labor, she has paid as of this statement, $1000., $700. of which has gone into material for her job and $300. has gone to pay 2 helpers. She still has a balance of $400. on the LABOR ONLY CONTRACT. She shut down the job, She will not return one of my tools, She is the one who will not pay what she owes nor allow me to correct what she thinks is wrong on a $1400. 40 man hour job which is only 30 hours into it. AND I AM INCOMPETANT????"
