I was not positive going into this project because the City said that it had to be done. So it is not right to take it out on Custom. They were the second lowest price. It passed the City inspection so they must have done a good job. However, the backfilling was horrible and it will take me a few more weeks to get it to be even passible, However the owner personaly came by and helped me redistribute the fill and it looks much better. He took a personal intrest and that is very important to me.

Custom Plumbing Services contacted me within less than a minute of submitting my request through Service Magic. The reason for my request was not having hot water in my home. In less than 2 hours of the initial phone call, a service man arrived and in less than half hour of his arrival, my water heater was fixed. The service-man promised that I would have hot water in 45 minutes and he was correct. I was pleased with the service and I was not overcharged.

Showed up promptly. Diagnosed issue and fixed the problem, but in the process of fixing a clogged toilet, they discovered another issue. At this point, the office was closed and the person in the field was not particularly adept at explaining what the problem was, or what it would cost. In the end, the work was done in a prompt and professional manner, but it was problematic getting answers to my questions and I believe it was very expensive for the amount of work they actually did and the time they were there.

Custom Plumbing came to fix one leaking exterior faucet/pipe. Since job ended-up being easier than expected, they also replaced the other exterior faucet for only the cost of the part ($10 more). Nice unexpected above-n-beyond service! Pleased with company and plumber that did the work.

Our water heater was not staying hot long enough for a bathtub fill. My husband had turned the heat up highter. We have lived here a year without a manual, and he did not know the heater had two thermostats. The two pllumbers came in and the guy said both thermostats needed to be exactly the same temp. and he unscrewed both plates and set them the same, put the covers on and ran water from the sink, and said that should solve the problem. Also turned the power on and off outside to see if that was it. Then he charged $125., and said he was doing me a favor because it should have been $195. We won't have them back.

I would highly recommend Custom Plumbing Services. We just moved in to an older home and found out that we had an expired permit on a sewer line that needed to be closed out before we could do some electrical work. We tried multiple plumbers and they were unwilling or unable to help us close the permit - most likely because they knew they would not get much out of the deal. Barry with Custom Plumbing Services was wonderful. He came out the same day to talk to me about the issue and then worked with the city to take care of the permit within a few days. He only charged us for the cost of the permit and not for his time.

They were very courteous and helpful over the phone, and Kenny was very professional and effective in solving the problem. I appreciated that they were able to send someone to the house the same day despite the relatively late hour in the business day. Luckily the issue was simple, but having a pro take care of it gave me peace of mind. Would definitely use Custom Plumbing again.

We had them install a tub/shower combo in our condo and found old plumbing problems and they were taken care of. We also found out that the tub needed to have a cement seat put down and they did that too. Not sure about why the tub creaks now. We changed our mind about the height of the shower head and they came back and lowered it for us. They were professional and on time. We did call them again when we found out that we needed new lines for the new faucets and they came in and did they work and were fast . But there was some confusion on the payment side when we thought that something was included in the price.
