I got a few quotes for restoring and finishing my desk, and Custom Renovations came in at the best price. We scheduled the appointment, but due to all the rain we had (summer of 2019) we had to postpone. We arranged that they come on a Sunday, which impressed me that they would come on a weekend and not charge more. They did excellent work. The power wash and prep was excellent, which they did the previous Thursday. The sanding and staining was excellent as well. They stayed until it was finished well into the early evening. What really impressed me is that they told us the original stain we chose would not work so well, because it was transparent and would show the previous stain. They recommended a solid stain to cover up better. They had already bought the transparent stain, but went and got solid stain and ate the cost. Their desire for excellent meant more than money. That is incredible and commendable. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Ricardo the owner saved me. I spent 2 days of my vacation time trying to remove the grey from my deck built last fall. After spending that much time the deck was not in a condition to stain. I reached out to Ricardo and he came THAT DAY to help me out. Power washed and sanded the deck and stained a couple days later. The deck looks amazing and his kindness was so appreciated. Ricardo was excellent to work with and our deck was just stained yesterday and the work was outstanding. The two man crew removed and covered our stamped concrete patio below our deck to ensure no stain marks were left behind. Custom Renovations did a great job on my deck cleaning and staining project. Company owner, Ricardo, contacted me quickly after my search on Home Advisor, and then visited my house on my schedule to inspect the deck, offer suggestions, explain how they do a deck project and write a proposal on the spot. The price was fair for a two-day (over three) job. Once we had a window of agreeable weather, the crew got right to the job, and worked as long as it took to finish while the weather cooperated.The cleaning and sanding work prior to staining was particularly impressive and made the deck look great. The crew was polite, maintained a clean work site, did a nice job of protecting adjacent plants, and left the area very clean. Highly recommend!

It started with a job for our deck and because of their professionalism, knowledge and service we also decided to drop the painting job we were going to do. It was well worth paying the extra amount to have them do it and not worry about finding the time to do it. I needed my deck repainted and dealing with Ricardo was great. He took the time to answer my questions, review product features and recommendations, and work within my timeline. He recommended a product that would last longer and leave a nice finish. In the end, Custom Renovations repainted my deck, replaced a rotten fascia board, and repainted the fascia. Ricardo was responsive and accessible and was always very professional. The work was completed on time and looked great! I will definitely use Custom Renovations for future work.

We recently had Custom Renovations refinish the walking surfaces of our deck. They power washed it to get most of the loose, old paint that was cracking and pealing. Then they sanded the deck down to bare wood and applied a coat of oil-based stain on it. They did a very good job and the deck looks great. They were friendly, efficient and professional. They did just what we needed done at a reasonable price. I would recommend Custom Renovations for any similar project that people might have.

His crew of Alberto, Miguel and Erik did a quality job. I would not hesitate to use Custom Renovations again. I highly recommend them.

There's been a lot of confusion because there are 2 companies with the same name. I thought I was hiring the other one. This is a very small company, commmunication has been a problem, The work is only half over and I may be pleased with the final result, but I don't know yet.

I have had other deck companies clean and reseal my deck but not as responsive, reasonable and high quality of work. Once the rain stopped Ricardo and his team were on the job site - they actually went over and above the original job description, because it was the right thing to do. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone needing the services they provide!
