Choosing Custom Wood Finishing and Painting was one of the best decisions we made in our home renovation process. Justin and Jensen went above and beyond for us. Our kitchen cabinets turned out so much better than I ever anticipated. We hired them to repaint our existing cabinets, and they absolutely came through. The color that we discussed came out perfectly. We also discussed paint grade finish, and they delivered. The first time we met them in person, they came over to our house for an hour. They listened to what we wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and explained how they would give us what we wanted. They were extremely patient with us, as we changed our minds a few times on the color. They were always available via phone or in person, and explained each bit of the process every step of the way. Jensen's finishing work and her attention to detail are exceptional. She works quickly, cleanly, and efficiently. I couldn't be happier with my cabinets, it was worth every penny. Justin and Jensen are incredibly talented and know exactly what they are doing. They have extensive experience. There is nothing they haven't seen, and no problem or challenge they haven't already dealt with. They treated us like friends. Their work is flawless and they stand by their word. I trust them, and I would tell anybody I know to use them, and only them.

Recently had Justin's crew refinish our outdated kitchen cabinets. On top of the amazing quality they delivered, they went steps further to ensure we are happy with their work. We first ran into multiple delays due to other parts of the remodeling and had to push back on Justin's team. They not only did their best to accommodate the schedule and project changes but also pulled numerous weekends and late nights trying to finish our project. I received great value for the price I paid for a lacquer finish. I am totally pleased with the results. The beautiful finish reflects high quality work and lots of hours to achieve that finish, given the difficulty of working with lacquer. Justin and Jensen delivered quality work that upholds the family business reputation. Justin kept in touch with me, keeping me informed on work progress. The work was completed on schedule. Justin and Jensen are amazing to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable about what they do and they do it right. Before I found this company, I got a lot of estimates from people who lied to try to get more money out of the job. I had an old solid cherry dining room set repaired and refinished, along with some tables. They did a great job. Justin kept in touch during the process and it was a pleasure meeting his father and others in this family business. True craftsmen. Highly recommend.

Justin was always quick to respond to my needs and questions. However, the amount of touch up paint that we have to do is considerable. We were told to expect a little touch up, which was fine. But we did not expect the large amount of overspray even with the masking. The cabinet refinishing is great as is my new staircase refinishing. They were very easy with which to work.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. I found them through HomeAdvisor on a Wednesday. They called me back within 5 minutes of emailing. They were at my house an hour later. I told them my wife would be out of town for the next 10 days and I wanted to surprise her with a refinished kitchen. They did the job in 6 days. And the work is exquisite.

Excellent work. Personable, timely, responsive. We have a very old set of dining room furniture. What was natty and incredibly worn now looks new, beautiful finish, and more on the way.
