About us
Cutting-Edge Steelworks was built from the ground up by Shawn Oudsema in 2011. The shop's capabilities include but are not limited to the following: Plasma CNC machine capable of cutting sheets of steel over 4 foot x 8 foot and up to 1/2 inch thick, TIG and MIG welders for all your welding needs, We also have the necessary cutting, bending, and finishing tools for any job. No job is too big or too small for us to take on. We will work with you to fulfill your order to the highest standard. Founder and owner, Shawn Oudsema, has over 12 years of experience within fabricating and manufacturing business. He has gained experience as a welder, machinist, and fabricator. He is a certified welder in the GMAW with positions 1F, 2F, and 1G with unlimited thickness. By working his way up within different companies he has gained a wealth of knowledge about becoming a business owner before he opened Cutting-Edge Steelworks.
