About us
Davis & Davis Design / Build Inc. is a true "Design and Build" company. They are a husband and wife team that have been in business together for over 15 years. (And still are married!) Jane Davis is a licensed architect with a degree from Iowa State, who works to seamlessly blend major additions and remodels into their surrounding neighborhoods. Joe Davis is a licensed building contractor / carpenter and handles the construction side of Davis and Davis (and wears a lot of hats). On any given day you may find him working out complicated mechanical pathways with a subcontractor, framing a roof, installing cabinets, or working in the shop on components for some built-ins. Rounding out the company are their long tenured, full time carpenters, Elliot (Joe's brother) and Tim. As a team they believe in smart design, construction quality that stands the test of time, and that we should respect the context and character of our homes as we change them to fit new needs and desires.
