Building Site Preparation and Clearing
I hired this Company to haul away all the garbage left by a prior tenant. Granted I did add double the work after the initial quote for $950. But the price double which I agreed upon. Two guys came out, one did nothing while the other sat on a little excavater the entire time. They left a few times for more than 2 hours each time and when they were finished there was an excess of trash scattered throughout the property and looked a mess. The owner, Sarah agreed it did not look finish but insisted on payment regardless. She sucks and her little operation sucks. I do not know Angi recommended her.

"Tom, I am sorry you were not happy with our service. We did our best to accommodate you and give you a reasonable price to haul away the trash. We hauled away over 10,000lb of trash. After our willingness to do more work, we were harassed by foul language and inappropriate talk. Payment was never received."

They thought I was not going to pay them. I was on my property and had no signal at all. I told the employees. I will pay in 1 or 2 days when I leave my land and get a signal. In 2 days, I made the payments in full. Sarah had already charged me without informing me. which I already paid, she never emailed me anything for 6 days, from May 25 to May 30, after she took the money from my credit card without approval. She thought I was not going to pay for my bill. I told them I would pay when I got an internet signal. I am in the mountains and do not have access to the internet. She was sneaky and dishonest, charging me without informing me for six days after the money was cleared. I like employees, but she is untrustworthy and sneakily charged my credit cards, which had already paid for it. Keep your credit cards away from her. I paid $775 and $850 with two cards on November 25, 2022. She charged me $1625 the same day without my permission or calling me. She did not say anything for six days. She never told me, and she did not email me anything no receipts. She cleared the money from my account. Of course she will not email me anything, Sarah; she wants the money to clear from my bank account. Do not hire them.

Our office also spoke with you over the phone and told you about the double charge and that a refund was already in the process; you said okay, no problem. Our office has made adjustments to prevent this issue in the future. Our office tried to give a discount on this bill and asked if there was anything reasonable we could do to make his experience better, but the customer refused our offer. We offer payment processing through our website that customers can use to avoid giving their information over the phone. Here at Davis Excavating, we strive to provide the best customer service, quality of work, and honesty in our business."

Raul and his team do excellent work, even when I sometimes had doubts or questions or couldnâ t visualize the outcome. Because of his experience and expertise, he knows how to create the vision we discussed. There was some lag time and delays, but I think that is the nature of the beast these days. And next, heâ ll help me create additional access to tie in to what has been done, which is nothing short of a complete transformation of a very difficult to access, down-sloped 1/2 acre naturalized back yard.

Abatement project/job. Letter from Redding Fire Department citing California fire code violations (hazardous vegetation). Cleared tall grass and removed several large dead trees within 100 ft of structures and 10 ft from roadways. Completed job a few days after estimate (much earlier than expected). Great communication via email and phone. I live out of the area (Los Angeles/Culver City) and had to rely exclusively on this type of communication/interaction with this business. Paid invoice via credit card upon completion. No problems to report. Satisfactory work from start to finish.
