This company's employee came (3 hours late) on August 8, 2016 to repair a 11 year old Goodman heat pump and promptly informed me it wasn't worth it, the compressor was shot., and he recommended a Rheem heat pump system....since it was over 90 degrees and my tenant was expecting out of town visitors, I okayed the $4,600 price he quoted.....and, on completion, he left with his payment in hand. In February 2017, my tenant began having problems and called the installer to come see.....he did NOT reply...so I called the other number on his card and the phone # was disconnected!! Fearing the worst, I went online to see if I had been scammed, but eventually found his Facebook page and sent a message. He apologized and said "he didn't get my tenant's message." He did come and fix the problem, including a brace that blocked the slot to change the air filter, making it difficult at best to change. My tenant took pictures of that prior to their arrival as well as the plenum that was laying on the ground, which resulted in the heat not getting ducted into the house. Now, last week in May 2017, my tenant again had to call this contractor...this time because the outside unit IS NOT RUNNING. The contractor did NOT show up for the scheduled visit Friday, nor call with a reason he wasn't coming. Again, I went to Facebook, and wrote a NOT NICE comment on his site giving my opinion of his lack of communication skills. He responded to that on Facebook, but NEVER called or texted me directly. He did, however, engage in a adolescent and petty text exchange with the tenant.......(called me an "old meany".) I've attempted to contact the Rheem Corporation twice via their own contact system, but haven't heard from them either. My next step is the contact the Better Business Bureau, though none of this helps my tenant's situation.....nor mine....at this time, it appears I've spent $4,600 for naught. I'm angry. I wouldn't recommend this company for any reason, whatsoever. IMO, Customer Service is the lifeblood of a company. This company needs a transfusion. Finally, this is the 4th time I've used Home Advisor, both in Kentucky and Texas, to find professionals for any job I have. This is the FIRST time I've been disappointed.....Further, this is the FIRST time I've purchased a RHEEM product.....most likely it will be the last...
