DBS General Services, LLC

I hired DBS General Services to jack up and level a porch - few of the cement piers had settled. I specified that wood shims would not be acceptable as they would compress. I requested steel shims but stated that I would accept any non-compressible material. They successfully jacked-up and leveled the porch with less damage then I feared - a good thing, Unfortunately, while they utilized steel shims for two of the piers as requested, they used a very wet piece of 3/4 flat sawn pine for the 3rd pier. This will certainly fail within a year as the weight of a post and beam roofed porch squeezes the moisture from that wood shim. At that point, I will have to hire someone to repair their mistake. In general, I was pleased with the their work but I am dismayed that they did not step up and correct their mistake. I can not in good conscience recommend them.

It was very easy working with DBS General Service. They came out to look over the project and gave me an estimate that night. I was informed when they were coming to paint. After they left I noticed a few small spots that I wasnâ  t happy with. I called the next day to let them know and they came back to fix the problem. They were very professional and I would hire them again for any other projects I have.

DBS worked well from start to finish. They cleaned up in between the job and was very courteous. They are very detailed oriented and take great pride in their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship in the work they preform.

I would hire DBS again, very professional and conscientious about their work.
