Our project was a kitchen renovation. We chose D.C Construction because of all of the good ratings they've earned. From the beginning to the end, working with Harley, Cynthia, and the entire crew was a very positive experience. With any remodeling projects there are some issues that come up; old buildings are not perfectly square or level. We changed our mind on one of the cabinets, changing a base to drawers instead of a door. Harley had suggested drawers in the first place, but I insisted a door would be more flexible for my needs. I was soooooo wrong; we returned the door base and replaced it with a drawer base. Harley and Cynthia took it all in stride, even though it caused more work for them. The vendors that they work with were also very helpful and professional. If any problems came up, they were very good at making things right. That kind of service comes from building good relationships, over the years, with their subcontractors. Finally, the crew was an amazing group of guys; they were here on a daily basis. they were highly skilled at their crafts, professional, timely, and courteous, They worked hard the whole time they were here. They made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. In summary, I would highly recommend D.C. Construction for any remodeling or building projects. Our project finished on time and within budget. Our neighbors took a tour last night and loved the layout, the quality products, and the fantastic workmanship. I have repeatedly found DC Construction professionals experienced, friendly, and versatile, often offering excellent suggestions aimed at streamlining projects to save time and materials, while dependably exhibiting professional work habits. During several remodeling jobs for me, they have handled a variety of basic electrical and plumbing revisions, installed cove molding, discovered and cured out-of-square doors, jammed jalousie windows, and repaired leaky copper water line. DC Construction inspected and replaced failing porch and patio upright beams where previously rot and unsafe bracketing had lanai support dangerously weak.

DC Construction is an outstanding company that came to the rescue and saved the day! My garage ceiling collapsed and DC was there the next day to assess the damage and set up a repair schedule. From Cynthia and Harley to Chad and Norm and everyone else, I feel so fortunate to have found this company! A heartfelt thank you goes out to each of you!! I would give it an 11 if I could!!

I love my new bathroom and would highly recommend this company. Everyone was very polite and their main objective was to make us happy. I am so happy we followed their advice and used cultured marble instead of tile. The workers cleaned up after each workday and the quality of their work was great! Would certainly use this company again!!

The job went Very Well from start to finish. Harley and Cynthia are a pleasure to work with. They had really helpful ideas for the redesign of the kitchen. They are prompt and very responsive to questions. They provided great communication throughout the process regarding timing and events to occur. The workmanship was top notch. Their crews are very skilled, friendly and timely. Not only did their skill impress me but the fact that they swept up, vacuumed and cleared their tools every night was very impressive. From my wish for a bigger kitchen to Cynthia's designing to making the most of tiny space to Harleys plans to make it all happen was so easy. I would easily hire them to do any remodel. A truly gifted couple. I also like the fact they had a regular crew and did not sub anything out.

DC Construction did a great job on my kitchen and bathroom. The workers showed up everyday on time and were easy to talk to and listened to my input on everything. Very professional workers who always cleaned up beautifully each day. Harley and Cynthia were easy to work with as well and always got back to me and wanted to make sure I was happy with the progress. A great experience.

Job is not complete yet.; however we were dealing with the VA Hisa program and they had to resubmit quotes several times which they were always willing to do. Hope to complete in next 30days.

DC construction was very professional. They thoroughly prepped the area and surrounding area. At the end of each day they cleaned everything up. The quality of the work was first class. The workers showed up every day on time and were courteous and friendly. Harley and Cynthia weâ re always available to answer any questions and to give you the schedule for the following day. Harley said it was a six week job and thatâ s what it was. I am very happy with the bathroom remodel and would recommend DC construction to any of my friends.

My wife and I hired DC Construction to redesign our kitchen. The project involved the removal of a wall to open the space. We wanted new cabinets and countertops. We met with Harley to discuss the project. We did not replace flooring, but some plumbing work was needed to relocate the dishwasher. Along the way we also met with his wife, Cynthia. During the project we interacted with his crew, including Shane, who was the lead worker on the project. Harley and Cynthia are patient and completely dedicated to pleasing their customers. Harley's email handle: "I build with care" is an accurate statement of his intentions. His final work product is an accurate testimony to those intentions. My wife and I were completely satisfied and pleased with the outcome of the project. We were especially impressed with the efforts Cynthia made throughout the entire project to communicate with us on a timely basis. She is more than Harley's right-hand person. She is very much a key member of his team. Shane was outstanding in assuring that all day-to-day details of the actual work were completed by his crew in a professional, clean, organized, and competent manner. He is an outstanding craftsman whose performance never fell below the level of excellence. As with any project, questions and issues arose along the way. Cynthia and Harley carefully listened to comments and concerns my wife and I expressed. They demonstrated patience and understanding in dealing with us and made good faith and persistent efforts to resolve issues and answer questions to our complete and total satisfaction. I highly recommend DC Construction in terms of work quality, professionalism, responsiveness value, and punctuality. Moreover, I am happy to say that this is a company that, because Harley and Cynthia are who they are, approaches a difficult and sometimes complicated business in a fair and honest fashion. Harley, Cynthia and their team did an outstanding job. They exceeded my expectations. The team is very professional, dedicated to doing a great job, and so considerate and polite. They have great attention to detail and the prep work to keep the area clean and protect carpeting and flooring in other areas of the house while the job was being done was much appreciated. I highly recommend them!

This contractor was a blessing. He gave me helpful info, suggestions and listened to all my needs so the job would match my vision. When things were found that meant changes, he contacted me quickly, gave me options and costs and timeline. His workers are courteous and my son in law, who works in commercial construction, said the work in my home is definitely quality level. They design things and then build them to fit your vision, like my mirrors in dressing area, special frames built to match my new custom cabinets. We had some delays caused by supplier problems, and I was given choice to change to something available quicker or stick to my original plan. In all cases, my choices equalled my time needs. This contractor gets an A in my book.
