Dan and Daniel were exceptional at their expert, and fast skills. they put down 1000 sq feet of floor in just over 2 days. We are VERY happy with the job.

DC Floors was very prompt and professional. I would recommend Daniel to my friends and family. I am hoping to have more work for them in the near future.

DC Floors was VERY responsive and got the job done in the timeframe we needed. He did a nice job removing my base trim and putting up without any damage to the trim or walls. The wood floors were laced in perfectly with my old floors. My only complaint was it seemed like there were just a few gaps between some of the boards. But I am extremely picky, and I don't think anyone else would consider them "gaps."

DC (Dan Cadar) Floors is probably the BEST guy when it comes to custom Hardwood Flooring. Don't bother going to Home Depot of Empire for estimates, because I've already learned that DC Floors uses better quality products and for LESS Money! I now have Absolutely Beatutiful floors! Thanks Dan!!

We just bought a great old house in the Sylvan area in west Portland. Original oak floors from 1939 were in pretty bad shape. I have 5 different contractors give me bids and 3 of those said they wouldnt even mess with refinishing the floors as they were so worn down from previous refinishings. Dan at DC floors said they would be good to refinish at LEAST 2 more times AND he came in with the lowest bid. After reading their reviews I thought we would give them a shot! What an amazing job! The floors went from being the worst part of the house to the best. Dan was amazing and even did little extra things at no cost!! PERFECT JOB!!

Dan, of DC floors, was great! He was on time, he explained everything he was going to do and how, he told us about floor vent covers that would match and be level with our wood floor. The end result was absolutley beautiful!! When I first looked at my new floors I could not beleive what a fantastic job Dan had done, he even moved our furniture for us. I now keep a picture of my floor next to my grandkids in my wallet so I can brag and show it off. We collected 3 bids to replace the carpet with hardwood in our living room. DC Floors bid was the lowest, so much so that we were concerned about sacraficing quality or service. After the floor was installed to our satisfaction, we decided to also put hardwood in 2 other rooms. We recommend DC Floors without hesitation. Dan, the owner, is a nice guy and is extremely flexible. He did an excellent quality job, at the cost quoted and on the dates promised. We were delighted with our experience and results with this project.

Dan is a very nice person to work with. His quote is one of the lowest and his job is excellent. He helped us a lot by fitting in his time with our multi-project busy schedule. He also spent some extra time to loose the sticking vent covers.

It was a wonderful experience. Dan's pricing is very competitive. He is quite experienced, does his job very professionally - always punctual and works very hard. His aesthetic sense is also wonderful. We decided to expand the wood-flooring area, over originally planned - and the supplier had no stock left of that particular wood. Dan came up with a brilliant idea of creating a nice pattern with contrasting wood-panels - played with a few design ideas by laying patterns over the floor, picked the right one - and then finished it superbly. and the whole area became a work of art. Everybody loves it. Finally, he's a great person to befriend.
