We hired them to remove 2 trees from our backyard, both maples. The initial quote was in-line with the other quote we received, but when they arrived to do the project they claimed it was 1000 dollars more. After we objected they came back down. We signed a contract with them, but then they never supplied us with a copy of it. They were supposed to haul away the waste and grind out the stump for the larger tree, instead they left the trunk of the tree (far larger than can be moved without heavy equipment) on our lawn, did not grind out the stump, and stopped answering our phone calls as soon as they received the second half of the payment.

they did take down our pine trees (I hired them) but they never removed the branches and tree trunks. they placed the branches four feet into the street. we got a call from the village about people complaining about debris in the street. shortly there after got a visit by the police regarding the debris in the street. we ended up hiring another company to remove the mess they left behind.
