Hydro Kings Pool & Spa

We hired Brendan to close our pool. He came on time, put the cover on, and moved some switches, He then told us that he needed some parts, but stopped replying to text messages after the first day and his voice mailbox was full. We hired another service to finish closing the pool two weeks later, and we have a video showing that none of the required work was done.

Hired them to open pool, he came out and disabled my pump so it does not work properly, did not give us receipt or send the email to let us know how to maintain.

This contractor, Gordon, was unprofessional and irresponsible in scheduling our pool opening. I contacted him after another contractor had failed to show up and the kids, who were quarantined at home, were really disappointed. Gordon seemed very understanding and eager to help the kids and promised he would get to us the next day. We, therefore, canceled another contractor who could have come that week. But Gordon did not show up. Instead, he texted that he could not make it because of a storm and promised he d come the following day. He did not show up again. From that point, both the landlord and I tried several times to call and text him but he would not answer and did not return any of our texts. As a result, our pool opening was delayed another two weeks and the kids were really disappointed and frustrated. As my little one asked, Are there any pool helpers who actually go to work? No doubt there are, and many trustworthy and reliable ones at that, but Hydro King is not one of them.

This company did not show for the first appointment and then after the second appointment my pool was in worse condition then it was initially. They did not take the cover off carefully which resulted in an excessive amount of dirt and leaves to fall into the bottom of my pool. They left the debris in the pool and my filter was broken after they left. I had to clean the pool myself.

The owner and his brother are an awesome team! Great work, reliable, and communicated very well. Have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so! Thank you guys so much and look forward to seeing you again for the closing of our pool!

These guys are the real deal. They are newer company but they are determined to make their place in the world by providing the very best service. I've never seen a pool company take such an interest in perfection and quality. They are spot on with their maintainaince and suggestions and so far have been really impressed. 100X better than the last company we used where we had to chance them down and were constantly calling about poor quality, missed appointments. These guys are hungry to grow and it shoes in their five-star service. If you're looking to get on with a great company on the ground flow call these guys - you wont regret it.

I've had my pool for 17 years, and used several different pool opening people. All were just OK. Hydro Kings was outstanding! With prior people it took three days for the water to get to an aqua blue stage. Gordon got it to aqua in one day so I could run the DE filter to get to the pool clear and ready to use. Thank you Gordon!

This rating may seem strange with some getting five stars and some only getting one but let me explain, Gordon and his brother came out to open or pool in the spring and they did a wonderful job, were in contact with us when they weren't able to make it on time but they did show up and did a great job. we scheduled for closing on the 14th of September this year and he never showed up I called I texted finally he got back to me and said he had called me and left a voicemail saying that he had to go out of state to go to a funeral that he would call me that night when he got back, okay that I understand well he never called me back that evening never texted so I gave him the benefit of the doubt again thinking well maybe he got home late and didn't want to disturb me the next day I called several times I texted several times, nothing, he never replied so now I am in the process of finding someone else to come close the pool for me and it makes me angry because I had to throw the cover on it because it was all clean the water level was lowered and I didn't want it getting dirty again. So no I would not recommend him.
