DFW Stone Warehouse

This is a really bad company! Vivaldo Gouveia is the salesperson and he was my contact during the project. Less than a year after the bathroom was finished, the file in the shower area started to lose the grout, the tiles had shifted. I had two professionals come to look at it, and they both said the work was poorly done: air pockets in the cement used to place the tiles. Tiles would need to be redone. In requesting to fix the error, I first texted Vivaldo a pic of the area, and I asked him to call me. He promptly did. He also said the tiles had probably shifted and he would send someone to fix it that Saturday. His opinion just by looking at the picture was that it needed more grout. (I had not yet gotten the opinions of the two other professionals). I was hopeful at that point that I was dealing with someone with integrity, who would stand behind his work and fix whatever was wrong. Saturday came and went. No one came. I called and texted several times since then with no response. Extremely disappointed! Would NEVER recommend someone like this to anyone.

My experience with DFW Stone Warehouse was unsurpassed! Customer service top notch and the work excellent with attention to detail. We had all countertop surface areas, flooring, sinks and faucets replaced (with an especially tricky area around the master bathtub). Our preferences were really listened to and Vivaldo made it so easy to make decisions. Pricing totally reasonable and they will work with your budget. Without a doubt I will use DFW Stone Warehouse for any future remodeling project of any magnitude.

Two parts to my project. The marble bathroom counter replacement in the Master bath is gorgeous! The install went without a hitch. I couldn't be more pleased. The seller took the time to figure it out instead of me just settling for a downgrade after we first thought it might be too thick. The drywall work in the adjoining suite was completed but I agree w/ another commenter here; perhaps communication between the crew and seller could have been tighter. The crew didn't seem to know there were a couple spots in the bath area also until I pointed it out and there was still a fine line crack behind the bedroom door but also, it wasn't pre-taped so maybe they thought only to do the cracks that were marked. Regardless, they did a fine job on the major areas and I no longer have to look at my wall splitting apart. I would absolutely work with this company again.

We got a great product. They came in with the best pricing and a beautiful product. I think they could have a little better communication between workers and the seller, but over all I am very happy with our new counter tops! Its like a new kitchen.
