I have a recently purchased remolded home originally built in 1920. The prior contractor did insulation throughout the house except for the subfloor crawl space. The floor was original and though it was beautiful, it lacked insulation and thus very cold. Also the floor felt week. Researched various options. We had a crawl space and the air was coming through various gaps and small holes. The closed foam insulation completely solved the issue and created the "envelope" they described when they presented the solution to me. It had also the side benefit of stiffening the floor. It feels very solid now. Everyone from Cody Johnson to the installers did a great job and were patient with my questions.

They completed the job quickly and efficiently. The next day, they even came out and inspected the work to assure it was done correctly.

Now my home is much cooler. and my ac system is more efficient. I would definitely use DFW Thermal solutions again and recommend them to my family and friends. A complete NIGHTMARE! DO NOT HIRE this company! Thank goodness I did not some research so I could know what to expect for attic insulation removal and installation. They did not install the baffles that allow the house to breathe. This is extremely important for the health of the home and the occupants. It can cause major problems. Baffles cost less than a dollar, they wanted to cut corners. We questioned the workers immediately after the install. The workers had no idea what was doing on and confirmed that baffles were not installed. They said the project manager would contact me. He did not. I called several times and spoke to several people. They said it was not their area and someone would contact me. No one did. Then, the workers just showed up one morning, unannounced, with baffles. We asked where the insulation truck was. They had no idea and said a supervisor would contact us. They were about to install the baffles incorrectly. No supervisor contacted us. I called again this morning and was told someone would contact me. I had another professional installer come to my home to inspect their work. It was just as I suspected. DFW Thermal Solutions improperly installed the attic insulation. Now, they are very nonchalant about correcting the issue. Meanwhile, the health of my family and my home is at risk. Do not hire them!
