The pro was scheduled on a particular day and only that morning, when I tried to reconfirm, postponed because the part was not available. The next scheduled appointment was postponed by another day because of traffic. The actual appointment was more than two hours delayed, again purportedly due to traffic, again without notice - only when I inquired for an ETA, after the scheduled time, did I get a response about a 1h:40m eta. That delay was extended by an additional half an hour, purportedly due to parking scarcity, despite me sending a picture of a truck-worthy parking space just outside my window. Last minute, the pro asked to switch to cash instead of the agreed-upon bank transfer, to which I refused. On the positive side, I was given a 7% discount for the delay, and the work was done effectively and quickly once the pro arrived.

I wish I was able to give ZERO stars. It?s frustrating to see folks actually had a good experience with this place. Technician never showed up when he said and never reached out when he was going to be late. On top of that the work that was done was WAY overpriced and to this day still incomplete. These ******** keep making appts and never showing up. Horrible experience and hope nobody else has this experience. Would not recommend.

Chris was great. He gave an estimated arrival time and kept me posted about when he would arrive. Once he arrived, he was very professional and respectful of my home; he didn't even mind my nosy cat. He gave me an assessment of possible repairs needed on my portable AC, gave me an estimate for possible costs and provided an invoice on the spot. He made the whole process very easy, and I appreciate the time he took to explain everything. I would definitely hire DG HVAC & Home Services again for my appliance repair.
