i called for a cleaning and inspection. they pulled the insert, cleaned the chimney but did not inspect it. when i originally called i explained the height and age of the house. they cleaned the chimney and then told me later (after replacing the insert improperly) that the owner would contact me regarding results of the inspection. I called him after a couple of days after which he called me back to say he could not inspect my chimney properly without a $325 camera scan of my chimney. when asked what did they do 10 or 20 years ago his answer was "all sorts of stuff" with a ridiculing tone. I asked him how often they find serious problems he said "99% of the time" and that we would probably require a $3,000 or so chimney liner. I hired this company for a cleaning and inspection, i let them know in advance what they were getting into, they were at best not prepared to do the job i hired them for or at worst looking to sell me much more........

Chim Chimney Sweeps called the next day after my inquiry. After a couple hours of phone tag the continued to return my calls. The were very professional and set up an appointment immediately. The day of my service they were prompt , courteous and kept area and house clean. Work and needs were explained in detail and the serviceman were thorough and pleasant. A very good experience!

Showed up on time, but did not have right equipment available. Project cost was as quoted. The house needed the duct cleaning...Saw original construction debris. I recommend duct cleaning for any house if you're unsure if it was ever done.
