DJ Electric Services has over 30 years experience in the electrical industry. We provide residential & commercial electrical contractors for new construction, maintenance and remodel work. We offer 24 hour emergency service available 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are a State licensed and insured electrical service provider in South Florida. We cater to both residential and commercial properties all across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. IBC Construction is a South Florida based, full service contractor with broad experience serving both public and private sector clients. Since our first project eight years ago, IBC has steadily grown into one of the regions most productive and respected providers of construction services. We oversee projects from small interior renovations to some of the areas most recognizable architectural landmarks. Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms
Our Home is in Pieces Because of IBC Construction DJ Electrical Services of Florida and David Jimenez DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! We entered into a contract with IBC Construction on September 14, 2016 to have our kitchen and laundry rooms renovated and approximately 3,000 square feet of flooring installed. IBC Construction and DJ Electric Services operated collectively. The sales associateâÃÂÃÂs business card had both business names listed, we were instructed to allow both through our gate, and the vans that showed up on the job had DJ Electric Services of Florida listed on them. Both companies are operated by David J. Total contract price was about $115,000 and we paid IBC a total of about $77,000. At this time, five months since signing the contract, only about half of the floors have been installed and they are defective. We were told by David J, CEO of IBC, that we would have our kitchen cabinets by December 15, 2016. When we asked where they were, David J. told us that they were in the finishing stages. We called the kitchen cabinet vendor directly and we were informed that IBC had never paid them the deposit necessary to begin manufacturing the kitchen cabinets. IBC misappropriated our money and David J. continually lied to us about it. My husband went to their office in January 2017 to professionally discuss the matter with David J. and he would not even meet with him. He was asked to leave. IBC Construction has provided us with quick and consistent service if you can count cashing our checks quickly and then consistently lying to us about when supplies would be delivered and work completed. IBC Construction has actually decreased the value of our house. We wake up each day now trying to figure out how to put together the pieces of our home that IBC Construction has destroyed. Do yourself a favor and do not call IBC Construction. IBC and DJ Electrical Services of Florida are completely non-responsive to our inquiries and calls.

Think twice or even three times before using and contracting with DJ Electrical Service of South Florida also known as IBC Construction, LLC in Cooper City for a partial or complete remodeling (floors, cabinets, doors bathrooms, painting, etc). We hired them for major repairs to our condo, and cannot recommend this company for a multitude of reasons. More specifically, In terms of the contract, the salesman who originally negotiated the contract with us promised an allowance on the tiles, and to include the cost of purchasing all baseboard materials. When this person left the company, the contract was changed by the president and a new contract negotiated. The contracts basically went from the company providing some of the materials at no charge to a nearly labor-only ($24K) with all materials paid (+$5-$7 K) for by us. All measurements and material costs, were underestimated and we ended up paying more than we anticipated. Furthermore, a lot of the work was shoddily done and needed to be re-done. We seriously question their professionalism ,honesty, quality, trust and integrity of DJ Electrical /IBC Construction LLC and its workers, specifically the project manager. Two examples .The workers removed a new garbage disposal we had installed, and they wanted to charge us for replacing it. Eventually they replaced it with a lessor HP than the new original. The final straw was when a perfectly good shower frame and doors were removed from the master bath without our permission. When we demanded they replace it at no extra cost to us, they installed a frame and doors meant for a tub enclosure, which stood 4 -1/2 feet from the floor. After we angrily confronted them about this, they finally put in the appropriate door⦠This is only the tip of the iceberg. There are several other similar problems and issues as well related to their work and service â¦â¦â¦ In conclusionâ¦..CAVEAT EMPTOR

"This project was quoted at labor only from the beginning. We provided many discounts as well as free services along the entirety of the project. We performed at least $1500 worth of free services as well as a $2-$3k discount in tile since the homeowner was not financially able to pay the total cost. We provided a new free shower frame as well. We were told by the homeowner well before the project began that there was no HOA approval that was needed. Unfortunately that information was not true and the project was delayed for over a month due to the HOA approval process which included inspections and additional requirements outside the original scope of work as well as additional materials. We did not charge the homeowner management fees, city fees associated with the cost of the permits nor did we charge the additional labor costs needed due to the association requirements. The city inspector and HOA inspector approved all inspections therefore there was nothing "shoddy" about the quality of the work. Furthermore, the homeowners were asked to do a final walk-thru of the project and to approve the final product which they did and they were very happy with the outcome. At that time the project was closed out."

It was supposed to take 5-7 business days and it took 15. The workers tried to make me supply things like grout that were not my responsibility. They found mold behind my old cabinets so I authorized them to cut out the old drywall and replace it. They gave me a bill for 630 dollars, to replace maybe 40 sq feet of sheetrock. Ridiculous, the materials were 20 bucks tops so I paid 600 for 1-2 hours of labor

"This project was a kitchen that can out perfect and was done in two weeks. The home owner was on a tight budget and we gave them a discount to make there Dream kitchen come to reality. We are not Mold remediation certified and had to hire an out side sub. We gave the client the cost of our sub. Mold is not some thing that we take lightly and never would want to put the clients health at risk. We are not able to see behind the walls and all the treatment was done in order to ensure a safe home by our sub. There was not just $20 in material spent and 1-21 hours in labor. This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a contractor. They were unprofessional from the start and we ended up firing them in the middle of the project. They then proceeded to hold me hostage for a final payment which came to 75% of the contract and all they ended up doing was demo and a small amount of drywall/tile work. All their work had to be removed and replaced by the next person I hired and it ended up costing me thousands of dollars more. These guys should be removed from your service as they are predator contractors who are just looking to do the quick easy way instead of the right way. Nothing but a horrible experience with them. Too many items to list they did wrong.

Though I am pleased with the results, the experience was very stressful. The owner David is very knowledgable and a great salesman. But when the work started the frustration began. Different workers every day, non committed schedule, long periods of inactivity without clear communication, etc. But at the end, the work was very nice. So if you can tolerate that kind of workmanship, you'll be happy with the end result.

"Our estimates are in the middle of road compared to other companies. When doing work for a customer, the customer will make changes and request certain things not originally discussed in starting budget. Customers will get ideas and we will then change our plan to accommodate the customers needs. Usually it does require additional costs."

Concrete Patios, Walks & Steps- Install
The concrete already started to crack, the color powder that they spread on the concrete finish did not work so had to apply concrete paint. Not happy with the charges for the color powder that does not work. Not a happy customer.

The project was to divide the lighting circuit in to two separate lines and switches. Sounds simple until you realize that the lines were on an outside wall and cutting the sheet rock wall and ceiling might be required. Instead the technician was willing, at great discomfort to himself due to the heat, to crawl to the outside wall in the attic to make the change. Saving me from repairing and painting the wall and ceiling. I truly appreciate his efforts. Thanks.

I never met David Jimenez of DJ Electric in person, just spoke to him over the phone to repair an electrical outlet at my rental property in Miami Gardens. He communcated well, responded to my email and phone calls and the technician completed the job on time and at the price he quoted. The price was reasonable considering in the timeframe i was working with, I couldn't find another qualified electrician who service that area.

The job did not start on time 3 hours late. 3 outlets done incorrect and one caused an electrical fire in my celing fan. Lucky i wsa home and smelled the burning wires. No one came until next day late again. Wires we done backwards in the kitchen for refrigerator and outside lighting. Dishwasher outlet installed behind the appliance and created no access to the box. Had to be redone. Outside switch installed does not work.. Poor overall and would not recommend. Later sent workers to my house by mistake for a job not ordered. David was nice but the workers were not qualified to do the work
