Read the full review, but bottom line is keep shopping because there are too many other options. Don't risk the customer treatment and poor product. If I could select zero or negative value stars, I would. Timeline, pictures, direct texts and receipts show the facts of why DJ Granite and Marble is a poorly operated business and should not be used. The facts are that we purchased what we thought, and were guaranteed by DJ Granite and Marble, to be premium quality quartzite that does not etch or stain. Within weeks of installation, we noticed several areas on the counters where etching and staining was occurring. Our worst fears came true with the latest stone countertop expert we had to hire. Bottom line is that there are varying levels of quartzite that range from mostly marble to mostly quartzite. Either DJ Granit and Marble does not know how to tell the difference, or they are being deceitful. Either way is a reason to NOT buy from this company. As it turns out, the piece we purchased is more marble than quartzite (Poor Grade), and that is why we have more than 50 areas where it is etched or stained. Our only option is to spend a quoted $700 to re-surface the counter when we are finally sick of looking an etched countertop. This resurfacing will have to happen at a minimum of once a year. DJ Granite and Marble said he stands by his work. He did not. Period. Please see the abusive language, lack of response, confrontational episodes in the continuing review. Issues and Facts Bulleted: 1. Poor grade quartzite sold by DJ Granite and Marble when we were guaranteed premium quartzite that does not etch or stain 2. Side countertop was not installed properly and I had to shim it myself to ensure it did not crack. The stone countertop experts we had to hire confirmed this as well. 3. Wall in kitchen was damaged during installation. DJ Granite and Marble said he would take care of it. Never heard from them again about the wall. The entire wall has to be re-taped, floated and painted 4. Continued attempts to contact DJ Granit and Marble were met with excuses. 5. DJ Granite and Marble's confrontational approach in dealing with us. 6. DJ Granite and Marble began raising his voice and hung up on me when I was voicing my concerns about the product and their lack of responsibility 7. Abusive, dismissive and confrontational language sent directly to my wife when we started posting factual reviews 8. There are no sealants to prevent etching in the stone. Our only option is to spend a quoted $700 to re-surface the counter when we are finally sick of looking at all of the etched areas in the counter. This will have to happen annually. 9. DJ Granite and Marbleâ s website used to have verbiage stating that Premium Quartzite is guaranteed to not etch or stain. That verbiage has since been removed from their site. I even have a text from Derick, the company's owner, stating that premium quart

We had to remove a 7 foot panel of quartz from the side of a bathtub to access a hose that had felled down. Popped it off, pulled up the hose, and popped it back on. Great service, skill, and knowledge.

We never thought the back splash could we removed in one piece but Derek proved us wrong. He did a great job on our wall and went the extra mile to fix mistakes made by the original installer.

They did a great job! They were on time, and there was great customer service.

Derek was super! as well as his colleague, Pascal. I needed immediate attention to the hole in my granite countertop to fit a new sink properly. He came the very same day I contacted him and did the job efficiently and well. AND they were very friendly to boot. I even offered to clean up but they insisted on doing it themselves. Thanks, DJ Granite for coming to my rescue with "same day service" !

Prompt, courteous and efficient. I needed my laundry room 8 1/2 ft granite counter raised in order to slide my new washer/dryer under. Job was done perfectly. No damage to granite.

They were very helpful about my repair options and also cleaned all of my counter tops when they were finished.

I would not recommend this company.I hired them to repair a crack in my granite countertop which I was original told would be filled with an epoxy that would not recrack but possibly crack in a different weak spot in the future.The repair,which cost $245 and took approximately 30 minutes to complete came back within a week.When I called to ask for them to come back and look at the repair I was told they would get back to me but would only try to fix it one more time or I could purchase a new top for approximately $2000. Needless to say they never returned to look at or make the repair so I guess I'm out $245.Therefore,I would not recommend this company to anyone.
