It turned out that everything was ok when they arrived. we still felt a service call fee was warranted. The charge was nominal.

Ridiculous. The first visit was good, the price reasonable. Since then I have had 3 or 4 more visits. At no time did I get a written estimate or any thing concrete despite requesting this a zillion times. It was like pulling teeth to get an itemized receipt. ?Trouble shooting? apparently includes doing what you told them was exactly the problem. I have paid D and L about $3,500 so far and have landscape lights that don?t work right and 2 transformers that probably aren?t right for the job. Now they want to charge me more to finish this job. I have no evidence these transformers are right for the job.

Repairman didn't arrive within the specified time schedule. The office called to state the change of arrival time because his previous job didn't finish sooner than he thought. However, since I wasn't going anywhere I just waited whether he came or not. He arrived late in the afternoon an hour before sunset. He was confident he'd finished the job before it got dark. He did. Repairman was respectful and friendly and listened carefully to my instructions as to where and how the switches were to be placed. His work wasn't shoddy at all. I'll for him again when I need to.
