bath time burgled when toilet flushed and clogged sink. d l Floyd plumbing claimed that the sewer trap needed replacing. and the sink pipe needed replacing. cost$2800.00. my house does not have a main line trap. another plumber cleared the sewer vent from the roof. witch took care of both problems Floyd plumbing tried to scam me

Stated he would come and look at it and quote me a price yet sent someone else who went did not introduce themselves and begin making alterations (that I assumed were required to assess i.e. pulling out consumer snack lodged in toilet). When I returned to check on him he had removed my toilet and went to work truck returning with a professional snack. When I informed him that we discussed him assessing and giving a price before deciding on service he called the boss who said I could pay $125 for him removing toilet and pulling out consumer snack or pay $200 to unclog drain. I asked if he could see the blockage before I commit to a service that may not work and he did not bring a camera because I only requested a snake (I never requested a snake I said I had a clogged drain). I allowed him to snake since I was required to pay $125 either way so the additional $75 to fix the hopefully problem seemed like the best option given. The work did not unclog drain, still charged me and did not put the toilet back on. Just left a worst smelling mess.

they came and did the job on same day when i called. this was preventive maintenance and given a chance to do at there convenience. will call them for next service. gave neighbor there number.

DL Floyd responded to our inquiry in a timely manner. They diagnosed the problem and had a crew to fix it within a few days. They even accommodated my request to add another clean out that we did not originally agree to. I was generally impressed with their knowledge and willingness to work with my concerns. I have had lots of work done over the years and I have to say these guys are straight shooters. They get the work done in a timely manner, good clean up, are responsive to your concerns and all for a competitive price. You can't beat that.

Had a rough start with the project as the technician was "double booked" and extremely late to the original appointment. For the sewer line repair appointment, the guys were on-time and completed the job in reasonable time frame.
