As far as I am concerned he was unprofessional. He did not know the codes for the area and he hired a neighbor behind me to help him with the fence as he only had one girl helping him during my project.

"Mary T. Mam, any alterations or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs, will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. You change the Electric Gate Kit to an industrial type one and then the dynamics of the initially agreed location of the fence to gate alignment. Unfortunately, we cannot work for free! Thank you for your patronage. Home Advisor has seemingly not taken this dispute seriously for I have sent and recently sent all the necessary documentation and photos to this resolve and yet to get an update thereto. I am rethinking my membership with Home Advisor!"

Iâve been in contact with numerous contractors in regards to my getting my fence repaired. After sitting up my home advisor account and answering the necessary questions about the project. I received a notification from D L Home Improvement and Construction Specialist. Mr. Williams gave me a call, and I explained what happened and what I was looking to have done. He said no problem and shortly after an invoice was sent to my email. What was very important to me was staying within my allotted budget. Not only was D L Home Improvement stayed within my budget. The quality of the work was superb. The project started on time and finished on time. During the project period, D L Home stayed in communication from start to finish. I look forward to D L Home work on more of my home improvement projects.

"Mam, I was under the impression that you were truly pleased with my services regarding your front storm door, as I took the necessary time to explain the need of a wind chain after repairing your front storm door and restoring its proper operation, that to prevent this need of service from reoccurring, it is detrimental to have the wind chain installed. You agreed via text message that you would utilize the link I sent you to purchase the wind chain and I would install it to the specifications of our service contract accordingly. As it stood you asked me to do you a favor of taking a posted dated check, in which I did to help in your service need. Yet you never purchase the wind chain nor contacted me for 6 months, and when you did you act as if the front storm door magically went back to the state in which it needed service from the beginning, after I successfully repaired your front storm door to your satisfaction. For you failed to purchase the wind chain and recently this year you decided to inform me you have the wind chain seeing the damage now has been done. I gave you the service policy and criteria to resolving your need, and you would not comply. And now after you initially gave me a 5-star rating, you waited after about 10 months to change it to a 1 star with a derogatory statement of me being a swindler! REALLY!!! You must be mistaking me for someone else for I have maintained the same professional character and service of excellence for the last 29 years! Home Advisor has been notified of this matter which has taken place 2-15-2019 today by you and I am sending the necessary documentation to solidify the truth regarding this matter!"
