Fantastic workmanship and attention to details ! Prompt and went straight to work completing about 90% of the work on the 1st day.Dave's crew (Skip) knew how to do everything and worked continuously from arrival to departure and earned my utmost respect. I would recommend D L Remodeling to anyone needing their Deck repaired and would give 6 stars if it were available. Thanks Dave and Skip for a job well done !

Work was done promptly, and the workers were definitely skilled. Majority of the work was done to my satisfaction. There were a couple of issues that I would like to have seen handeled better. One was addressed after I raised a concern, the second I had to resolve myself due to being in a time crunch prior to closing on the house we were selling. While the work was mostly satisfactory at a certain point I was left feeling that the workers felt they had put in the time allocated to my job, and had to get in to the next one rather than hear my concerns.
Response by D L Remodeling: This is the response to Robert Pearson's review of me and my company. I first heard from Mr. P[Consumer name withheld at their request] on Oct. 1st through a request from HomeAdvisor. I went and looked at the job on and got him a quote by the sixth. I mentioned that he might need a new door, but he said he was selling and did not want to go ahead with a new door. Also because a new door would have taken about 10 days to order. He also wanted some electrical, work done. He then sent me an email about the electrical work and I said he should have an electrical contractor do the work. On Sunday the seventh, he let me know that he would get an electrician. I told him I could do the work on the following Wednesday. We went in and removed the door and sidelights, underlayment and the subfloor. The outside box of the floor framing was totally rotted away with almost nothing left. We replaced the box, reattached the floor joist, installed a new subfloor and reinstalled the door. My guy worked well past 5 that night to get it finished. This was because Mr. P[Consumer name withheld at their request] was selling the house on the following Monday the 15th. He inspected the job with my guy and said everything was fine. Friday morning I get an email saying that there is a problem. I am there within 2 hours. He met me and told me what a great job the men did. He then told me told me that the door threshold in the frame is bad due to water damage. He wants it fixed. It was not in the scope of the work I quoted. I did tell him that I would get a man there on Tuesday to fix it. He was not happy with that so I called one of my men and asked if he could get there Monday afternoon and he said yes. He was upset that I would not get there Monday morning, but the men were committed. I get a text showing me that he fixed it in about 15 min himself. I can not think that he would have me cancel an appointment to fix something that was not in the quote but did agree to fix it Monday afternoon. The first line in all my quotes reads if it is not it the quote it will not be done. I would like to think my reviews speak for themselves.
