He comes out to do an estimate but then the next thing you will know he is already buying supplies at Lowes before you even agreed to go with him. He will overcharge you, promising to be as cheap as possible but Lowes would have done more for a cheaper price, he took the money before the job was finished and came up with several excuses as to why he can not finish that day. According to my neighbor, they barely worked for more than an hour at a time anyways. The quality of the deck is very poor. No supports in the middle of the deck so the boards will sag, the steps were only held together by a screw on both ends, the railings were not aligned properly, and he never has all the materials on hand. He will say he got all he needs from Lowes then come back and say he needs more materials and charge you for the extra stuff. This happened about 3 times now.
