DMS Painting and Carpentry

While I had used DMS several years ago for projects I have had a different experience this summer (2023). I contacted to paint a fence in May, agreed upon an amount and paid a deposit of $1750. David Sheridan texted several times he was coming in June, only to no show without further communication. My last communication with him was July 7th. The address listed for this business is incorrect and does not apply. His phone is disconnected or off, he is not replying to email or text, or app messaging. I do not recommend hiring this business and fear my money (I had to save to paint the fence, single mother) is gone.

DMS Painting and Carpentry did not complete the job for which he was paid. My situation was associated with an insurance claim. Unfortunately, the contractor knew the financial distribution process, and I did not. He had a complete copy of the repairs required and the associated costs provided by the Insurance Adjuster. I would not recommend this contractor.

Due to warm temps and melting snow,, I had water pouring from my gutter downspout and with heavy rains in the forecast I needed it fixed asap. I called late in the day and he was here first thing in the morning, had it fixed in no time and it looks better than the original. Very professional.

I called on a Sunday afternoon and they were here within the hour to size up my splintering fence. They rebuilt the long sagging half of it the next afternoon, all the week before Christmas. Despite wintry conditions, hard-to-find supplies, and my rush to keep my dog from continuing to escape through the broken fence, they performed perfectly. I can't praise them enough for courtesy and job performance. I recommend them highly.
