About us

Experienced with Integrity and honesty. In 1989 I relocated to Seattle as a professional snowboarder and guitar player. Working summers with some great journey level painters I learned about paint chemistry, and a growing understanding of why most paint jobs fail. I combined this with my weather knowledge. Three decades later, 2000+ hours flying paraglider and years of rock and ice climbing, I still paint. Together combining these non similar activities has left me with a track record of zero failures or warranty repairs. Honestly...Zero. I provide a clean, stress-free working environment. My reputation for outstanding service, reliability and consistency is shared with each customer, you can trust that every time. Why no Facebook presence? From the start, David was meticulous in the preparation of the house. Washing, caulking, priming where necessary. He made sure to cover other surfaces and plants. He went above and beyond what a standard painter would do. David is a supreme painter and our house now reflects that. He was reliable, friendly and very hard working. I believe I found the best painter around to do this job. I'll use him on any painting jobs I have in the future. I highly recommend DNJ contracting for all your painting needs. Thank You David.

David was awesome and clearly a master painter. We presented an unusual and difficult job that included hand brushing log oil in very elevated peaks on our home. We also had to consider the temperature and required dry day after application. David was so flexible with our requirements, was so adept at setting up a ladder system, and not a drop of stain fell on our green roof. His polite and considerate personality was a bonus to his excellence as a painter. He became a friend and has our respect. Thank you David and Home Advisor!

David did an excellent job on staining my fence. He wasn't the least expensive person; however, he was responsive, knows his paint, and goes out of his way to be responsive. David was also regular and communicated very well regarding the project. I definitely will use him again on exterior painting projects.

David was a professional and meticulous throughout the house painting job. He worked with us in obtaining a house color that we wanted and ensured that it met our expectations. Our house has three levels, a screened porch along with landscaping that created many challenges for him, but he did not complain. He just got the job done and always with pleasantries. He arrived on time each day and worked until weather conditions did not permit him to continue or until he had reached a reasonable stopping place. He was a joy to work with.
