We haven’t moved yet, but we do appreciate that they didn’t beat around the Bush about pricing and how long it will take to move.

We used DN Van Lines to move from South Florida to North Florida. Our belongings were in storage for 6 days. Virtually anything that was capable of being broken or damaged was broken or damaged. A thick marble top on a bedroom night table was cracked in half. Decorative wood on the headboard were snapped. Our leather couches were dragged uncovered on pavers tearing the leather. Our kitchen table was unwrapped with a box cutter and the top irreparably damaged. The guest bedroom furniture was mangled. The frame on one of our bicycles was bent. The television boxes were mangled (although miraculously the televisions were not damaged). The 3 employees who delivered our furniture were miserable from the moment they pulled up to our door. They were rude, unprofessional, lazy and completely incompetent to handle the job. It was as if they had never moved furniture before. They couldnt figure out how to get the guest bedroom furniture down a hallway. They damaged the walls and scraped the tile floor. They were ready to leave before assembling the guest bedroom and the master bedroom. They reluctantly agreed to assemble the guest bedroom and then asked for payment. When we pointed out that they hadnt yet assembled the master bedroom, they threw a fit and stormed out of our house without payment. We called DN Van Lines and they sent a manager to help my husband assemble the master bedroom, although having paid DN Van Lines good money to do the job, my husband shouldnt have had to help someone assemble the furniture. I told DN that I didnt want to pay the balance due since the service we received was so abysmal. The woman we had been dealing with from the beginning assured me that DN would make this right, but to please make the payment, which we did by credit card that day. Needless to say we never heard from them again. Weve had 4 moves, one of them cross country, and none was anywhere near the horrible experience we had with DN Van Lines. If I could give them a ZERO, I would.

Movers were polite and did a great job!!

The worst move of my life. Heavy items packed on fragile items. Broken china, broken Emmitt Kelly clown statues, broken recliner base. Missing items that were probably taken. (TV, $300 watch, several miscellaneous items from the office). If you even consider hiring this company make sure you get insurance, or they will pay you 60 cents a pound for broken items. (How much does china weigh?) On top of that, you better have a detailed list of what they packed, and what was unpacked. Oh...and just so you know the smell takes a couple of days to leave the house. The promise to pick up empty boxes...nope. I am sure there are more items I should list, but you get the idea.

Management was great. Guys working the truck were not good.

They were doing fine until they dropped of my stuff. They stacked heavy boxes on top of lighter boxes. I bought a new paper shredder and that box was on the bottom of a stack of older boxes. Luckily, it was not damaged. They also damaged the back of a wardrobe unit. I did not see the damages until after they left. I would definitely not hire them again.

Customer service was great. Movers were to be at my house between 8-10am and they showed up at 11. They were very efficient and quick- the only problem I had was that 1 of the workers was rough w/ some of my furniture and broke a few items including one of the wheels to my elliptical- and it’s incredibly heavy- so now I can’t even move it from where it’s sitting and he didn’t notify me. He made sure to point out items that had scratches etc before he loaded them in the truck. The guys were very nice. The cost was about half of what they quoted me which was a huge blessing as well.

The one day that it stormed when we hadn't had rain in "ages" - they moved our household efficiently and with my total satisfaction. Would definitely recommend

Customer service was good, they guys who moved us were even nice. But, painfully slow, which becomes expensive. And they have you sign something on move day that they tell you is for whether or not you want your furniture wrapped, but be careful because it's actually a waiver for liability, they destroyed every piece of wooden furniture we had, scrapping it all down the side of a metal, and unprotected hand truck, and the ?manager? at first basically told us to suck it up. It took several phone calls to get any resolution for the multiple issues we had with the actual move. And they don't answer the phones on Saturday when they say they're open either. So I couldn't talk to any on the day of the move about our concerns. I would feel better if for the time it took them to accomplish what they did, they actually moved most of our stuff, but we are still moving it ourselves currently. Go with another company. It seems like a good deal, and the lady you talk to is super sweet, but we regret using them in the end.

Excellent service for move from Florida to Virginia. Everything went smoothly with the exception of a small snag at delivery where the street of the new residence was very narrow for the truck and on an incline. Everyone involved kept their cool and got the job done.

Three workers sent only one was truly experienced others were willing but took too much of experienced workers time explaining proper way to do job. This led to taking more time than needed for the job.

Both young men were very professional. Dan was very prompt in answering my email and with almost the penny cost. Key: All three heard me, BUT the listened to me the customer of my needs from their business.

Total experience exceeded my expectations. Prompt, Professional & Polite! They are an example of how moving companies should be.

Customer service was excellent.

The movers were very nice and tried hard to take care of the furniture--so far I have nothing broken and I had a lot of boxes containing glass that I packed. The lead mover in charge was very efficient and professional. I would use them again.

Great company. Very professional. Pricing was as quote. Most moving companies I used in the past raised the pricing at the time of the move. DN Van Lines did not. Highly recommend!

1. Project Duration. The project took longer than projected. 2. Issues Not Discussed with Me. I was charged for travel to the site and a 5% penalty for charging the job to a credit card. 3. Damaged Items. The movers broke the leg off of a piece of furniture. I sent pictures by email and a request for what process they wanted me to follow to have the furniture fixed. Four days have passed and I have yet to be successful in getting the company to respond to my request.
