Josh is knowledgeable, reliable, prompt, and affable. He gave us an exact estimate for rewiring a pool pump, which had failed due to a short. He rewired the pump, timer, and switch with new wire, and upgraded the connections. When we learned that the motor was faulty as well, he disconnected the motor, and promptly reconnected it without extra charge on a second visit once the motor was repaired. We will use DOC Electric again if we have any electrical problems in the future.

He was very honest, I had problems with my pool dial and turned out someone removed the settings...he could have easily gave a story on getting a new electric system of a couple hundred dollars but fixed it with $4.00 parts...super honest! Redid my electric panel and brought up to code, repair, replaced and added what the customer wanted and explained pros/cons. Very friendly and clean in both personal appearance and the mess he made. His prices were reasonable with the quality of work performed. Definitely will rehire for next project and future electrical needs. He's well worth his price and a Godly man. This is who you trust in your home.

Yesterday we hung our outdoor Christmas lights (my first ever), plugged the extension cord into the outlet, and nothing. Nothing. Some friends recommended Josh Darrow at DOC Electric. He arrived on time this morning, looked around, and tested a few things. He found the GFI in the garage activated. And when he reset it the lights went on. He explained what a GFI is, that this could recur during the holiday season, how to recognize it, and how to correct it. He also warned us about the proper use of 2 and 3 prong extension cords. This guy is terrific. He could have ripped me off big-time. Instead, I got some practical information, a big friendly smile, and an electrical expert I can trust. I will call him again. And I will recommend him to friends. Shout out to Josh Darrow and DOC Electrical!

Professional, timely and neat. I am remodeling a home that obviously has been remodeled in the past. Regrettably whom ever did the electrical work previously either didnâ t know to or didnâ t care to do an even adequate job. I actually met Josh at an electrical supply store where he not only offered advice but gave me a short run of wire I needed to accomplish a task.
