Very good customer service. Easy to get in touch. Very reliable and responsible. They did asphalt paving in front of the building, a substantial job which look quite good to me. But the city inspector did not like some minor aspect of it. So DP guys have done the job over again for free. They even came to meet with the inspector during the inspection, just to be on hand in case he had any questions. Dan and his team have really gone out of their way to make sure the job was done right, properly, professionally and up to the NYC department of building regulations. I recommend them highly.

If you are doing cement work, you have to a day when it does not rain.

The crew worked so hard that by the next rainfall which happens quite often in New York City, the sidewalks and the asphalt were all working at a very high level of efficiency.

Professional, Honest and Reliable. Dan and his team removed some old asphalt and installed new ashphat pavement. They work quickly and clean. Excellent job! I will defiantly call Dan again for my next project.

Dan Prendergast, owner is personable, professional, punctual and polite. My project was the replacement of the sidewalk in front of a rental property. I had actually made a verbal agreement to go with another contractor but withdrew after being made to feel uneasy about the proposed plan, cost and timeline; Ultimately, I lost the ability to trust the company owner or that the job would be properly executed. Dan Prendergast erased all such concerns and left me feeling fully confident he would do the job well, on time, and at reasonable cost: the value is already evident in peace of mind and quality workmanship. I fully endorse his company and strongly recommend him to others. I will be hiring him again in Spring 2015 to do additional work on my property.

Didn't do the job properly didn't compact the asphalt

My project was actually installing new concrete curb and sidewalk, but your site doesn't have that option. However, Dan was the last contractor who visited me and the best value! I had almost hired somebody else because he didn't make his 1st appointment. But I'm glad I didn't hire anybody else. Dan and all his workers have great attitude and are ever ready to satisfy your request and explain the logistics. Very courteous and personable and reasonable. I recommend them highly.
