Peter is a true professional. As first time home buyers sometimes it can be hard to find people you know who are going to be honest with you at every turn. He walked us through our entire house with patient and education while also vocalizing his concerns and things that are just standard maintence. He made this process enjoyable instead of scary and we are so happy Peter did our inspection. Would recommend him to anyone.

We used Peter for our home inspection on 9/21/25 and couldn't have asked for a better experience. He pointed out everything, and I mean EVERYTHING that I could possibly want to know, but did so with enough context that I could make informed, low stress decisions about what was important and what wasn't. His reports are full of information about not only what was wrong, but why it was wrong and what the problems could be if issues were left unfixed. I would absolutely recommend him to other first time buyers.

In one day, he came to our home, spent hours examining everything, taking many helpful photographs and providing explicit suggestions as to how to fix any issue he found. This exhaustive report was then produced and delivered to us within hours of his visit on the very same day! Highly recommend.

This is the 10th house that we have had inspected. We had not used DPW before but Peter did as thorough a job as anyone could. He gave lots of pictures and explanations. I walked around with him and he gave explanations as we went. If you are new to house buying or have not had a good inspector before, DPW should be a good choice.

Peter is qualified, responsible and was very thorough in our inspection. His 52-page report included everything discussed -- and more -- and pointed out multiple items on a checklist for repair. Peter is easy to contact and responds quickly. I reached out through HomeAdvisor in the middle of the night and received an email by 7 AM the next morning! The inspection cost was very reasonable! Peter was very thorough and very informative. He photographed every thing that came up and had our report back within a few hours. He broke down each issue and the process of resolving it and pointed out what could be possible issues in future. I hired Peter based on reviews and was not disappointed. Shortly after I filled out the online inquiry, he called to tell me about his philosophy, background, and what he offers in inspection. He was the only person who did this, and I felt very comfortable with his depth of experience and the way he explained things. This was the first house I've bought (have purchased condos in the past) and the inspection was so helpful in terms of teaching me about the house and what I may need to work on in the future. He was clear about what was a safety issue and may need first priority, and what I should keep an eye on. He answered my many questions patiently.
