I’ve historically had horrible experiences finding reliable contractors. We were referred to DRC Construction from our friend and glad they did. Dave came out with a reasonable quote up front, kept in constant contact throughout the process, and completed the deck in a timely manner. The deck turned out great and we were happy with everything. We will definitely be using DRC Construction in the future for any new projects.

It's all about the details! And David exceeded our expectations! He didn't just fix what the issue was he went above and beyond. He was an excellent communicator! Showed up on time! And did a phenomenal job! He really took his time. And you can tell he takes pride in what he does! Moving forward we will only be using him and recommending all our friends to him and his company.

DRC is the absolute best. They are very professional and very knowledgeable. David is just absolutely amazing. He sees the problem and immediately responds to the situation. Then it?s fixed. Kevin also is an excellent employee. David just tells him what he wants and then Kevin does it. The work is the best I have ever seen. David fixed a gate problem my wife and I thought we were stuck with. Our backyard opens to an alley, and the original setup was an extremely long, single-leaf hinged gate. It had sagged and racked out of square, leaned sideways, and constantly bound up because the ground at the alley line isn’t flat. It was essentially inoperable. David didn’t “patch” the problem—he fixed it. He converted it to a double-leaf “French door” gate and handled the excavation / grading to correct the swing path and maintain consistent clearance. This was more than carpentry—it took an understanding of grade, clearance, and how gates sag, rack, and bind over time. Stuff that’s way over my head. Now everything operates smoothly without scraping or sticking, which means I can roll trash/recycling straight to the alley instead of hauling bins around the block. Great workmanship and smart problem-solving. 10/10

David did an absolutely wonderful job on my front porch rebuild! It had been needing replacement for quite sometime and he worked with me on design, ideas, suggestions and professional input. I appreciate his hardwork, speed, knowledge and skills to create something I now receive so many compliments on.

A Miracle! We bought a house and needed a bathroom installed in the basement. The only space was a mechanical room 13’x5’. David put up a wall dividing the room in two, added an up pump for the waste water, redid walls and cut a doorway from the bedroom into the new 8’x5’ bathroom. He redid walls and flooring in both rooms. Added a sink and counter, toilet, and shower. We now have a gorgeous guest bathroom installed in our basement. If you have workers in your house for a month you want them competent and skilled, but you also want them pleasant and easy to work with, making decisions as if it was their house. Working with David is collaborative—his ideas often improved upon ours. Always quality. And neat and clean. They put up plastic to separate the work space but also put paper and plastic on the floor to walk on And Vacuumed each day as they left. This is David—proud of his work! If you need a contractor for any kind of remodel, hire DRC!

David and Nick installed a walk in shower and three windows. They did an excellent job! We are very thankful we found their reliable construction company. They removed our old bathtub and installed the new walk in shower. We also had threewindows replaced. They are not only highly skilled they are courteous, clean up well and on time. David communicates well before, during and after the projects. We will definitely call on David Rivera Construction for our other household needs. We highly recommend this company for your next home upgrades.

David and his crew are easy to work with very personable and professional. They turned my old destroyed kitchen into a space i can enjoy using.

We had a great experience with DRC Construction! David showed up on time for the initial consultation and was professional and attentive from the start. He really listened to what we were looking for and came up with a custom design for our porch and staircase that truly enhanced the look and curb appeal of our home. Although there were some weather-related delays, David kept us in the loop the whole time and still managed to finish everything before our deadline. We’re really happy with the results!

My photos did not attach so here they are. This is only a few as I can only upload 10. They do not show the full picture of what he left unfinished or the shoddy work. Here is crooked cuts, screws sticking out, uneven walls, epoxy peeling up, electrical not up to code, etc, I haven?t even begun with the pictures of what he left inside my house, the front door and screen, the sunporch with different size windows etc.

I have left a review already and have emailed David to make this right more than once. I don?t want to pursue this legally but will as he took thousands from me and did shoddy work. This time I am attaching some photos. They don?t show the extent of his poor work. You can see the crooked patio cover, randomly placed screws, unfinished garage edging, epoxy that is peeling up, not up to code electrical and how he did the electrical for my toolshed, boards pulling off of building and discolored wood and chipping which is all around the house. I have another carpenter now who is professional and honest and am so thankful to have found him! He has assessed David?s work and is appalled. FYI David took over $200,000 from me. I was a victim of the Gray fire and he took full advantage of me. If you have currently hired him and think he is not ripping you off? Beware! He is. You just don?t know it, just like me. And if he isn?t? Awesome! I wish that was my story but unfortunately it isn?t.

This is the second remodel we have had David do for us and we would use him again! He is really great about communication and is realistic with what can be done in a space. He also does not ignore issues outside the project when he comes upon them, for instance our basement lights under the bathroom were wired terribly and he fixed them so they were up to code and safe. We most appreciate that his work is done correctly, safely, and for a reasonable price.

David did a bathroom remodel as well as a new fence for us. We love the work he has done! Very professional & communicative, always on time and kept work space tidy. His tile work is gorgeous and his ability to work around the quirks of our old house was priceless. Definitely will be hiring him for any future work and always recommend him to friends!

I had some work that needed to be done in my home. I got in contact with DRC. David was very knowledgeable and he was very direct. He let me know he had other projects going on and when he told me he would show up he did. He did a great job. We was fast and efficient. He was a great communicator and you can tell that he takes pride in his work because his work was fabulous. I highly recommend DRC.

My house was built in 1953 and badly needed a bathroom remodel. I was contacted by David Rivera Construction. He gave me a great price and I had him start the job. They were on time, professional, considerate and cleaned up completely each night. The bathroom turned out beautiful. After they did that one they went downstairs and completely remodeled the other bathroom. It also turned out to be beautiful. After that was completed I had them start on my kitchen moving my laundry room upstairs also. I would recommend this company for any type of work. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect.

Absolutely started out like other 5 star reviews. Ended up labor gouging me and taking every dime I had and not finishing work completely and competently. Would yell if I didn?t pay him before jobs completed and ghosting me for a mini split he installed 3 time that still doesn?t work and a tool shed door that doesn?t close and so many other dishonest things there isn?t space to list here. I now have to hire other contractors to finish and fix what he left undone and broken. Do not hire this man. He is a master manipulator, con artist and will make you think you are the problem!

Solid guys, did a good job quickly

DRC was amazing. They were here everyday when they said they would be and always cleaned up before they left. My bathroom looks wonderful even better than I imagined. I will definitely hire DRC for any future remodels.

David and Carlos were friendly, proactive to solve problems and worked efficiently. They thoroughly cleaned the work space before they left.

I have not seen two people work as hard as they did. They went over and above to make sure I was happy with their work. I want them to do another room because of their good work ethics.
