D&R Landscapes

1) The topsoil I ordered and paid for was primarily sand. 2) I specifically said that the soil needed to be packed along my driveway, and that any excess should go in the backyard along my side fence and spread in the flowerbed along the back fence. a) the soil was not packed and the majority of the excess soil was spread in my front yard along the street curb. After David & his men left on Thursday, January 18, I contacted David that afternoon about this problem and he said they would return on the weekend. David later told me they would be at my house on Sunday by 1. Rain was due on Monday and I needed the soil moved away from the street and the soil along the driveway to be packed firmly. b) On Sunday, 1/21 at 9:17 am, David said that he and his men would be at my home around 2ish. At 2:39, I asked David for an ETA. I sent David another text at 3:07 and asked if they were coming or not. Between 2:39 and 3:07, because rain clouds were moving in, I went out and began moving the dirt from the curb area to along the driveway where D&R had failed to put any soil, and then began the process of packing it as best I could. I did not want the soil (ha!! sand!) I'd paid for to wash from the curb into the street. At 4:10 David told me they'd be at my house in about 45 minutes. c) At around 5 pm David showed up alone and began moving the remaining soil from the curb area but said that he didn't have all the equipment he needed. He did say that they would be back in the next couple of days with the equipment they needed and would finish the job I'd paid for. Well, I never saw D&R Landscaping again after that. I since had to hire another company to finish the job properly and to provide actual topsoil that was not 90-95% sand. Even the owner of the other company said there was no way what D&R had delivered could be considered topsoil. If I could give D&R Landscapes a lower score, I would. I was totally cheated.

D&R Landscapes have been consistent, knowledgeable and professional with us in all aspects of servicing our properties. We are always impressed by their attention to detail, accommodation to requests and professionalism from their team. We have decided to continue with D&R for our vendor to service multiple properties. Itâ s refreshing to see a company with attention to detail in their work and customers!
