Great service

Always on time, friendly, cooperative, and reasonably priced service. My issue has to do with cleanup. They used cheap plastic instead of cloth and I had to get on my knees for a couple days removing paint from the carpet. Hundreds of paint drops and a ton of dust. Communicated this issue to company. No response!

D and S Contracting Services is a professional business. They promptly answer calls. They show up on time and ready to work. They give you a fair estimate, they clean up after they finish, they wore a mask, and they provide you with an invoice of work performed. I am very happy to have found a business that takes their work seriously. I highly recommend it. Attentive to my needs. Very transparent in explaining the work that needed to be done and why. . .

I hired D and S to fix a banister on stairs leading down to our basement. A previous contractor installed the banister incorrectly (without anchors). So the banister was separating from the wall, and the existing holes had a lot of damage. The screws barely stayed in the wall. D and S did a very poor job with patching the holes. The job was done very sloppy. They did not sand down the area after patching it. The areas they patched up looked noticeably different from the rest of the wall. And they lazily painted all over the screws and anchors on the banister (instead of removing them first before painting). The work quality was so terrible, that I had to call them back the next day to come and fix the work. They showed up the next day to fix the work. But the owner left and left the subcontractor by himself to correct the mistake. It seems like this owner is more concerned with rushing through projects, than actually doing quality work. The subcontractor that stayed behind ended up doing everything from the previous day over. In the end, the finished product looked a lot better. The owner never called to make sure the issue was rectified. Very poor management and ownership at this company. I would not use them again.

I highly recommend him. He did excellent work for me. Very personable and attentive to my needs. Very transparent in explaining the work that needed to be done and why. Made me very comfortable with the process. It was very refreshing to work with him. I was fortunate to find him. I would use him again.
