Dave was very communicative throughout the entire process. He kept my house clean when he was done for the day. He arrived on time, and when he was going to be later then usual he texted or called to let me know. I would definitely choose DSE Carpentry (Dave Edwards) to do any project in my house - he knows a lot about everything (carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electric) He provided great advice when I was not sure which way to go with flooring, paint color, cabinetry, tile and hardware. He had a new helper with him and I loved listening to Dave talk things through with his helper when teaching him something new. He was patient and kind with him, which was incredibly satisfying to witness. You can tell Dave is a bit of a perfectionist, he pays close attention to the little details ensuring the end product is beautiful. He redid my entire main floor (entryway, living and dining room, kitchen and powder room). The project took a couple months to complete, but it was so very worth the wait!! Jody Oslund, Severna Park

Dave and Corey did an excellent job on my two bathroom remodels. Service was fast and courteous, and with an eye for the details. Dave was very helpful in the purchase process when I had questions about different products. Dave is the best contractor that we have ever hired, hands down. He is professional, excellent quality of work and always on time and ready to work. Dave removed 3 sliding glass doors and framed them out for windows, removed 2 load bearing walls and installed headers and framed out an exterior entry for windows. He also was able to repair termite damage to exterior wall frame. We would recommend DSE Carpentry to everyone!

DSE provided a detailed list of costs, and scope of work, prior to start. There was clear communication about any adjustments or changes to scope or cost throughout the project. Dave has a great attention to detail which was very important to me so that the two new bathrooms we were adding would blend seamlessly into our old house. I would hire DSE again without reservation.

Do not look any further for services than DSE. These are the guys you want doing your work. Their attention to detail and the quality of work for their price is a rare find. This was our first remodel project and we were very impressed with Dave. Dave's estimate was accurate and price was fair. He did all of the work himself - no sub contractors. Dave started with a complete demo of the kitchen (except the floor). Dave installed recessed lighting, undercabinet lighting, new kitchen cabinets, sink, all new appliances, shelving, new french doors and painted the walls and ceiling. He did everything except the flooring. Dave communicated with us each step of the way and let us know his schedule daily. He was very pleasant to work with and very neat. Each day he cleaned his work area before leaving. We never had dust and debris during the entire process. The quality of work is exceptional. I LOVE my kitchen and have had no problems since the complete remodel. I will definitely hire Dave again for my next project and highly recommend him to anyone looking for any type of home renovation.

As an interior designer, I work with many different construction companies and people. Dave is outstanding workmanship, timely, professional and a joy to work with on this project. I have since brought DSE on other design projects such as built ins, fireplace remodeling, lighting, paint, etc. and very happy with the experience. I highly recommend DSE Carpentry.

Mr. Edwards installed the fan & fixed a bathroom outlet, charged me twice as much as he quoted. Now I no longer have electricity in my living room. I informed Mr Edwards he said he would come back & see what the problem was. He showed up 3 days later. When he came i asked if he was going to charge me for his error? He said yes. I reminded & explained to him he caused it & he is responsible to repair it at no charge, he refused and left. I no longer have electricity & I am going to have to hire am electrician to repair the damage he caused.

Dave and his team were prompt, neat, and easy to work with, even when we hit a roadblock with electrical challenges. He went the extra mile and came back on Thanksgiving morning to resolve a problem! Amazing!

Him and his son were very professional and nice. They arrived on time and even called with an estimated time of arrival. They were both very thorough and completed my refrigerator installation a lot faster than I thought they would since they had to remove both French drawers, the middle chill drawer and the bottom freezer drawer. I would highly recommend them to everybody. They were a pleasure to work with.
