DTP Home & Office Inc. completed a major renovation and addition at my home, and now I love my home! It s everything I wanted and more! Thomas regularly communicated with me about scheduling, budgeting, ordering, delivering, installing, inspections, etc. so I knew what to expect each step of the way. There were unanticipated delays due to SDGE, custom ordered doors and windows, and rainy weather; but the end result is that my home is better than I imagined it would be and it was worth it! My primary concern was staying on budget, and Thomas provided options at each phase to ensure the project remained within budget. Thomas treated my home as if it were his own, paying attention to detail and making sure I was ok with what was happening, and then making adjustments if/where needed. He completed most of the work himself and brought in subs with impeccable standards like his own for concrete work as well as installation of new HVAC throughout, hardwood flooring, kitchen cabinetry, kitchen and bathroom counters, shower glass, and stucco. Thomas reviewed my renovation plans for removing two walls to reconfigure and expand the kitchen, and made suggestions to the kitchen layout to create a more functional flow and an overall better use of the space available. To create an open concept floor plan, a wall was removed between the kitchen and a bedroom and we also took down most of the load bearing wall and then installed a flush header. We relocated the sink and stovetop then added an L shape cabinet configuration, double oven, spacious pantry, conter-depth fridge, dishwasher, service window, and a solid slab island with 7 cabinets for storage and seating for 5. The galley kitchen I previously had was closed off from the dining room and living room, was lacking storage and functionality and was really only a one-butt kitchen. Now everything has a place, there s ample room for food prep as well as cooking, and the kitchen is the heart of the home where we all love to gather, even as a family of 20+ for the holidays. Slight adjustments to the plans for the 500sqft addition also maximized the use of space to create a peaceful new master suite (bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet), while still including the generous corridor with French doors and sidelights, a laundry room filled with sunlight, and a covered patio. I am so happy with this renovation/addition and the overall transformation of my home. It was such a pleasure working with Thomas. He is kind, professional, organized, and extremely capable as a general contractor. I highly recommend Thomas for your home projects.

Oscar was very personable. He showed me the problem with the closet door and I was shocked how easy the fix was. Oscar even educated my mom and I on how to maintain/repair the closet door in the future - a quick and easy fix. No parts needed this time. Thank you, Oscar!

Outstanding professionals. They sized up the tasks that I wanted done proficiently. Their work was impeccable. Their craftsmanship was such that they were able to expand the area I wanted to put a new and larger refrigerator in and they installed a new over the range hood as well. They did some "build out" out work around my kitchen cabinets. Can't rave about them enough! I would recommend DTP to anyone for a myriad of types of home repairs or remodeling!

The owner Thomas Pellet was wonderful to work with. He did an amazing job installing closet doors, installing a metal security gate door and lock and also installed three wooden shelves in my laundry room. Highly recommend. Fair price for services performed.

Thomas is very responsive to all communications. It is very important to me because I have dealt with many contractors in the past who performed poorly in this area. We hired Thomas to install a barn door in the wall with no existing opening. Thomas and his crews were right on when making the opening. No need to paint the surroundings when the opening was framed and the barn door was installed. They also cleaned up after themselves. So it was an easy clean up for me afterwards. His quote was very reasonable for the scale of the project. Thomas is very honest and easy going. No pressure from him when he came to give us a quote after seeing the project. He also does the work himself. He is definitely a keeper for my future projects, which is never ending!

Thomas is very easy to work and very responsive.

As with any highly desirable contractor, some allowance for scheduling should be anticipated. If you can be flexible, you will find Thomas' services to be an excellent value.

Thomas's work is just fantastic. My kitchen is amazing, they cleaned up after themselves, great communication. His prices are very competitive, I had the job bid by 3 different people. Two thungs i particularly liked: when he found something odd, off, or wrong (very common in my old, strange house) he told me about it and fixed it. Second, he and his workers were very good with my dogs. I felt very safe and confident leaving them alone in my home. I am already talking with him about some other work I want done!

Thomas is a very personable and knowledgeable businessman. I had a deck where the wood was rotting, but he and his crew were able to replace it with new, up to code construction. I also hired him to stain the new wood. His price was reasonable and the work was excellent. I will use him again.

These guys did a great job reinforcing my garage ceiling, and done on a very hot day. They were on time, on schedule, reliable, very courteous and very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate hiring them again and would recommend them to others.

The workmen were quite professional. They were neat and clean. They did great work and were very courteous to us. The project ended up being a whole lot more because of taking off the old shingles but they did it quickly and in a timely fashions. There were added repairs that needed to be done and they were done as well. they came early and stayed late each day until the work was done. They answered our questions and our concerns. My husband and I were pleased with the results and will be using this company again for some other projects we have in mind.

These guys were great I never expected my kitchen to look so good ! They were professional and finished in a timely manner. I would recommend this company to Family and friends .

Wonderful company. Very personable I just really enjoyed them in my home and they did all the things that I couldn't do it it was a pleasure to have them they're working on all my little projects would hire them again keep their card handy. Thomas and his brother are really great guys.

DTP Home & Office, Inc. is a very profesional company. They installed tile in both of my bathrooms and installed baseboards throughout my 2100 square foot home. They were promt, courteous, and well worth the money. I'd definitely use them again.

This was a remodel of a open space no privacy studio, small kitchenette with no wall cabinets and very small sink, and a bathroom. The project turned into a spacious one bedroom, large closest, comfortable living room space, with a full kitchen that turned out beautiful. The project turned out amazing and I loved the design. I was very satisfied with Thomas and DTP Home and office Inc. employees. This is a trustworthy and honest company that I would definitely recommend to my family and friends and would use them again for future projects big or small.
