D&T Paving-Sealcoating

Looks wonderful! D and T did a wonderful, efficient job repairing and Seal coating our driveway today. They were professional, punctual and efficient. Thank you for the great service. Would definitely recommend them.

Dean was very good in communicating everything in a timing lot manner. He confirm our appointment the day before and on the morning if he even stopped by early because it had rained to tell us he wanted the driveway to be drier and rightly so and thus performed the job just an hour later than what was originally planned. Our driveway had 2 holes that were patched and he applied a generous layer of a prayed on sealer to deal with the many small cracks in our very old driveway. It looks great!!!

He told us we could use our sidewalk and driveway by 48 hours even though he place a double coating. Now it is 8 days and we still can?t use our driveway and sidewalk. Not truthful and in places the oil is running and pooling. Bad choice.

Dean completed the job on time with a very thick sealcoating, and it's high quality oil based sealing, much better than water based, well worth the money. Highly recommended! I will definitely have Dean back for the next sealing.

Dean was great to work with. We had to reschedule due to weather but he always kept us advised. Good work

Team was punctual and the pricing was fair against other quotes. They unfortunately were not very neat and I was left fixing a few issues after the job because they would not. They did refund half of the money for the job because they wouldnâ t fix the issues, but I wouldhave preferred to had it made right. My issues were with: -Scheduling: we had rain in the forecast and I was assured the seal coating would dry in the window we had. I was clear that I would wait for a better day to have it done, but D and T did it anyway. It did not dry, see more below. -Quality: after heavy rain the same day, some hot tar and seal coating ran down my driveway in to a town drain. It stained beyond my driveway. -Attention to detail: there was overspray on my homes siding and sidewalk. D&T taped, but only about 2 up which was not enough. On the sidewalk, there were two heel sized prints where hot tar was left on the concrete. D and T said it would not stick to the concrete and it would be fine. I had to scrape it off a couple days later and it has permanently stained my concrete. A pressure washer wouldnâ t remove the staining. -Professionalism: D and T did not come prepared with anything other than a paper sign and some marking line to prevent access to my driveway. Their solution was to use things out of my garage as make-shift posts to hang their sign and tape on. Maybe they take more care with bigger jobs, but this was not a service where I felt that quality was a goal. Would not hire again.

Dean arrived and immediately asked us for **stakes** to tape off the driveway. He did not fill the cracks, did not edge the driveway, got a seal coat on our siding. It has been over 4 weeks and our driveway is still wet!

He explained he uses high quality materials and I can see after his work is done how much better the quality is from the last paving/sealing company I used.
