Avoid working with DVAC at all costs. When I initially requested a quote for the installation, I specifically asked for a 3-ton high-efficiency heat pump. Unfortunately, the experience with DVAC has been nothing short of frustrating. They began by stating that extensive work needed to be done, charging for it all upfront. However, when it came time to install, they drastically lowered the quality of the equipment, gaslighted me, and lied about what was being provided. Hidden charges surfaced right after my existing system was removed. The issues I discovered included but not limited to: 1.The installed heat pump is only 2-ton heat pump instead of the required 3-ton heat pump stated in the estimate. 2.The furnace provided is of lower quality than what was agreed upon. 3.The ducts installed are too small for the system. 4.The electrical cable used may be undersized for 3-ton heat pump. 5. All works were unpermitted. Throughout the project, I repeatedly verified the permit status with DVAC, including on the installation day (8/15). They assured me everything was in order. However, on 8/20, I confirmed with the City of Kirkland that none of the work had been permittedâ a clear violation of both city regulations and our contract. Given these serious issues, I requested a full refund and the removal of all unpermitted work. DVAC refused to comply with the contract and denied the refund. If there were a zero-star option, I wouldn't even give them a single star.

They are unlicensed and performing work illegally. They had there license suspended in Dec 2023 and still advertise as though they have a valid license. Look them up on the LI website and you will see multiple violations for operated without a license

We had again Dvac Heating and Air staff in our house. They are all accountable, not only what they can don, but what they would like to offer as the total solution. They made the app quickly while it was the busy autumn season, and cleaned up the furnace. Additionally, they look at quickly and fix the gas fireplace. They even helped me to engage with some other constructor, to clean the heating duct. You folks are really great!!!

We contacted Dvac for a furnace and A/C maintenance check up. The attention to detail that was exhibited by the tech was unlike any we have seen before. The tech was very knowledgeable, thorough, and honest. We highly recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

I received bids from multiple companies but ended up choosing DVAC Heating & Air due to David's professionalism and attitude during the quote process; in fact he was the only one who seemed interested in my fairly small and unique project. My schedule changed many times but David was very accommodating and was able to work me in with only a couple days notice. I had decided to install a Gas Cooktop and Island Hood and needed a new gas line and exhaust duct run, he was able to help me with both. The gas line was fairly straightforward but the Hood was a 42" Island Hood that needed new duct run between ceiling joists to the outside wall of my house; David was able to do it without leaving any exposed holes in my ceiling, that saved me a lot of patch and paint work. Also, the hood was being mounted under a 8' ceiling and David was able to help me get the hood in place and make the final connections with less than 3" of access to the duct; I really appreciated that he took as a challenge and didn't end up charging me more for the extra work. I would recommend David and DVAC Heating & Air to anyone who has project that requires gas lines, ducting, or even HVAC service needs.
