First of all, Johnny promptly responded to my initial inquiry.. project is finished and still haven’t heard from 2 other contractors! They did an AWESOME job refinishing the floor. In addition, they were extremely courteous, prompt and accommodating. Anyone with hardwood floor projects should call Daddy&Son first. Great job, great guys.

This company was by far the most competitive quote. The scope of work for my project was 1400 square feet of existing hardwood floors to be refinished,10 stair treads to be replaced, foyer hardwood flooring to be replaced, and a couple of custom thresholds to be fabricated and installed. The work was performed in the time frame that was quoted. There was one hiccup that Johnny was able to troubleshoot and rectify, which had to do with excessive moisture in the foyer's hardwood floors, that affected the staining and sealing process. Our hardwood floors which have not been refinished for decades, look almost brand new. As for the business side of this company they are very professional and very quick to respond to questions or comments. I would highly recommend Daddy and Sons hardwood flooring company.

This is the second project Johnny did for me. I am so happy with the outcome. He is honest, does great quality work in a timely fashion. Follows through with everything as agreed. He has unbelievable work ethic. Very good communicator and very easy to work with. Highly recommend.

I hired Viet (aka Johnny) and his father to redo the hardwood floors on the entire second level of the 100-year-old house I just bought in Quincy. They sanded and did three layers of finish on the entire level (three large bedrooms, the hallway, and six closets) in three days, on the hottest days this summer (and I have no AC). My floors...are...amazing! Johnny and his dad did a fantastic job. I am incredibly happy with their work and with their professionalism. Very business-like and no nonsense, but also very pleasant to deal with. I would *absolutely* hire them again.

I'll be honest... Johnny/Tommy/Viet has a strong accent, and it was hard, sometimes, for me to know what he was saying or if he understood what I was saying. But here's the deal... He was the first to come look at my floors, was quick to respond to my e-mails, readily accepted what I wanted him to do, bought and applied precisely the products I wanted him to apply, did the job right, even when I had forgotten to specifically write down some of the optional steps I wanted done, showed up on time, worked quickly and professionally, taped up ahead of time, cleaned up afterwards, was polite, professional, and upbeat. I hired him, in part, because of his great reviews. Now I know why he got them and am pleased to add my own.

Johnny/Viet reached out immediately when I requested a quote. He was very prompt with every meeting scheduled as well as being the lower priced quote. I had a wood color crisis that he handled like a pro! Two rooms were refinished, both coming out beautifully. There was minimal dust with all trash being removed from the workspaces. I would not hesitate to hire him for future projects.
