If I could rate this company lower I would. The project took way to long to complete but I'm not complaining about that as much as the quality of work or lack of quality. As the project was taking shape I asked many questions with the way he was doing the job. My biggest concern was proper compaction. I saw many flaws that stuck out to me and he assured me he would complete and fix these areas. One year later and the flaws are even more obvious and more have appeared. He assured me many times he would make it right. My patio looks more than 10 years old already. The steps are loose and falling. The entire paver top needs to be reset and steps tore down and redone. I would not recommend this contractor to use Legos. I gave Daigneault Designs many opportunities to fix these issues and he blew me off every time.

Out of the 14 weeks he worked for us, showed up at the time he said three or four times (that's being generous), and usually never before 10am. Often came for a couple of hours a day. After a plumbing delay beyond his control, Eric guaranteed in writing that the job would be done February 29, finished May 12. I knew we were in trouble day one, when he ripped the sheet rock off a wall to get to the pipes & remove the tub--when there was an access door behind them in the next room. Did not ask permission before putting the hole in our wall, and charged us to replace the sheet rock, too. He installed the tile over an unstable floor (we had just bought the house so didn't know this), never checked the flooring underneath although it was easy to feel movement when walking on it, didn't reinforce it with plywood but used only backer board. Complained when we made him replace broken tiles before signing off on the job. The grout is still popping out because he did not reinforce the floor properly. Said he could reglaze the tub and sink, but the rust he left behind in the sink was bleeding through after washing our hands once (and we did not use it for at least a week after glazing). Painted our walls and trim at least four times over before getting it right. Some edges are still not sharp, and we had to clean it off the shower tiles afterward ourselves. Spray painted right into the motor of our exhaust fan so we had to buy a new one. Smashed a hole in the wall trying to replace switch plates, then botched the patching so badly my husband had to redo the sheet rock patch there. When he put the toilet back after tiling the floor, the (very old) flush mechanism didn't work so he replaced it--but it never flushed completely afterward so my husband had to fix this, too.

POOR QUALITY WORK, NO FOLLOW UP, DOESN'T HONOR WORK DONE. FILING WITH BBB AS WELL. Eric is the owner and the labor force, he does have some help when he performs jobs. He requests most of his money up front which isn't a big deal if you received quality work. Once he completed the job from his perspective he stated if there were any challenges to let him know because he backs all of his work. After about 30 days I started have issues with gaps in pavers and stone dust falling through since there was not a good enough base of crushed stone under pavers. In addition Eric built two steps with a base of wood and cement board then overlayed tile. In less than 45 days the tile started coming off the cement board and in some cases cracking. I Called, Emailed, & Texted Eric a number of times through the Winter & Spring and he kept saying he will come take care of it. However it has been 7 months of conversation and this is still not competed. Looks like I will be doing the work. BEWARE!
